If you are just starting off I would say adopt as many pets as you can in adoption centres to start building up trading fodder. After that start trying to go for high demand pets that are lower in worth and trade them off for a good deal. As you get on the list it takes a lot of patience to start building up fodder. There are a lot of impatient people who trade off valuable pets for lower value and I usually like trading for them and then trading it off for their full value or close.

It's a process building up list fodder, you have to start by trading up, then trading down to trading up again. People like quantity so if you have that people are more likely to overpay. Like I mentioned you would have to have a lot of patience.^^

Offsite trading is also quite resourceful. I used to do a lot of offsite trading to build up a good foundation.

It starts of with having something to work with and just getting to know the economy on what's in and not. Also a lot of bargain hunting for the good deals that pops up. Add in luck and you are well on your way to building up list fodder. c:
