EnigmaticJackal's Mustang Make-Over Progress (no posting)

This is a thread based on an on-site fictional adoption of an equine design. This is not for public posting.

Kaylin's truck and trailer bounced along the dirt rode to her house. She had driven past Bayside, leaving her whinnying stallion there confused. The two horses she had picked up from two separate operations were trashing in the back and denting the back hatch. She took the turn into her driveway slow and took a short path to her creaky barn. She carefully backed the hatch end into the barn and got out to close the doors around the trailer. An eerie silence fell over the barn as she placed a hand on the trailer door. Taking a deep breath she prepared for the lead ropes to be snapped. The doors swung open and two bewildered mustangs stared into her face. One, a silver bay dun gelding with an odd temper and the other a twitchy black appaloosa gelding. She smiled at the two geldings and spoke softly to them. "How was the ride boys?" She said, taking care with her tone. Looking down at their legs she noted that her dun gelding whom she had dubbed Ross had cracked his hoof sometime during loading. She was brought back to reality by an impatient snort from her still unnamed black appy. She walked away to gather up old jump standards to built split paths to two large stalls. Kaylin wanted to keep the two separate for now until she got them properly socialized. Once all was set up she climbed to the left side of the trailer and reached through the window to un-clip the lead rope from Ross. Once pressure was released the terrified gelding stormed into the funnel. Waving her arms a bit, Kaylin managed to coax Ross into the stall and slowly shut the barred door. The appy gelding was a difficult task. Once she un-clipped the rope he backed farther into the trailer. Whistling at him moved him into the funnel where he stood for a good 15 minutes before Kaylin tripped over a straw scoop and he spooked into the stall. Once again she closed the stall carefully and put away the standards. Not bothering to move her truck and trailer and snagged her camera and snapped photos of her two scraggly mustangs.
