Welcome to Foxerfly Adopts!
A Foxerfly is a fox-like creature that is rather small; about the size of a house cat. A very unique feature of them is a set of wings on their back that allows them to fly. So far, there are five different types of wings that have been discovered, all which resemble the wings of insects: Butterfly, Dragonfly, Bee, Moth, and Wasp. Another unique feature is their charms, which represent their talent. A talent is a Foxerfly's calling in life. It is okay for Foxers to be skilled in the same expertise, however two Foxers cannot have the same charm. Be nice to your Foxerfly; they will only choose the one right for them!
Basic Rules
- You may only adopt up to 25 Foxerflies. If you or someone you love has a Foxerfly hoarding obsession, please contact us for help. You may have all of your Foxerflies removed otherwise! (Shadow.Flame is an exception, as are staff on a case by case basis.)
- Give the staff respect toward our decisions. We all must agree on something before it becomes law, thus decisions can take some time!
- Customs will never be open. Wait to adopt one that we make!
- Do not ask to be a guest artist/artist/mod unless the applications are open.
- You may sell your Foxerfly for the amount you bought for art, but that is it. If you have purchased a Foxerfly without art, you were scammed! Please contact us for help
-Foxerflys may be traded
- You may gift your Foxerfly, however you must ask staff first.
- You may also readopt your Foxerfly. Please contact a staff member so we can make you a section under our readoption thread!
- Foxerflies are allowed to be a commonly used character, but NOT your Fursona.
- Your Foxerfly can only breed through the nursery. NEVER breed it yourself, please. The Nursery will reopen soon.
- Foxerflys may break up with/Divorce however many Foxers they desires; however, they may only breed with two Foxerflies! No exceptions!
Item Rules
- Artists should automatically add you to your Foxerfly's oekaki so you may add items
- No hair may be added! Hair is only for very special Foxerflies
- Costumes can have wigs. Ex. for Halloween
- Changing the wing type of your Foxerfly is not permitted. There are items for that during events!

Talents and Charms
The thing that Foxerflies are most sensitive about is their talents. When a Foxerfly is very young, they do not have a talent. Usually under ideal conditions, their parents observe them very closely throughout the kit's development. When they are certain the moment has arrived and the young Foxer has found their calling in life, they present the young Foxerfly with a charm on a string that represents their talent. Occasionally though, young Foxers do not have parents for one reason or another. They find their charms in different ways. A Charm remains in place for the duration of the Foxerfly's life.
Talents can be anything in a Foxerfly's life. Something they're good at or something they love. Their charms NEVER change, though their talents may take on a different form. It is not a decision, but a destiny.
Other Info
Foxerflies are born with their wings developed but eyes shut. Eyes open within ten days, and flying begins between one and a half to two months of age. Their sound is that of a mix between a cat and a fox, but lighter and more musical, like a bird. Their call is rather recognizable. When being defensive and mean, their sound can screech, hiss and snarl, but when pleased they are capable of purring. Foxerflies are also excellent swimmers. Their small, hollow-boned figure allows splendid buoyancy, their wings act as fins or propellors, and their long, fluffy tail can keep balance. However, they cannot fly for up to an hour after swimming. They also adore climbing trees and do so well, as well as being talented diggers to create burrows.
