Petrie, like the adorable character from The Land Before Time, is a little lacking in the self confidence department but is a total sweetheart who just wants to make the people around him feel happy. He has been known to step up when it matters most and takes charge when he needs to, although he doesn't generally like to be the leader, he is a protector and will do what he needs to to keep the ones he loves feel safe. Despite his loving nature, he can be rather unstable as he tends to put others before his own emotions, meaning he puts his needs on the back burners whilst he takes care of those around him. He can be snappy and is easily put in a bad mood when his bottled emotions are starting to boil over but he will never admit that he needs help or someone to talk to as he doesn't like others worrying about him and the things going on in his life.
