Cosmic felt the thump of her heart go against the soft winter-like breeze. Her paws slapped the ground hard in soft powdered snow. Cosmic shifted her directed and headed toward a small hill. She sniffed the air and listened to the wind. Had I just heard... a sniffle?, She thought. Cosmic's heart raceed thinking about a poor creature. She followed the sound in dark wisps of the night. Cosmic glanced at the Aurora Borealis in the night sky. Her eye twinkled when she heard the faint sound again. Cosmic's ears perked up and began galloping to the sound of the soft voice. She came upon a small Kiamara. Cosmic sat next to her and nudged her with her nose.
"Whats wrong little one?" Cosmic asked the small Kiamara. The small Kiamara looked at her.
"I-Im just saying sorry to my sister... w-who..." Cosmic nuzzled Trinity. "Who...?" She asked.
"Who.. ate... yewberries... a-and... is no longer living"
"Its okay..." Cosmic coaxed her. "Whats your name little one?"
"Im Trinity..."
"Thats a very pretty name! Do you know what that is?" Cosmic asked Trinity as she pointed to the sky.
"The northen lights?"
"Correct. Theyre also called the Aurora Borealis... the oxygen and ionized nitrongen atoms returning from an exicted state to groud state. Theyre ionized by the collison of solar wind and magnetg - whatever it is - particles funneling... does that sound right?" Cosmic asked
"Well it sounds right..."
Cosmic smiled. She hugged Trinity and gazed upon the Northen lights.

Cosmic glanced up at the sky. Wind swept through her fur. The lights, they sparkled with stars that night. She greeted the one thing she missed forever so long.
Pink, Blue, Green

Her eyes dashed around, wanting to savor all the stunning colors of the figure. She missed it's old swirl as it moved in the night sky. Welcome back old friend.
The wind blew ever so gently and it seemed to play a song along the grass. It hummed a simple tune, then among the forest a wolf pack joined in with howls and yips. An owl hooted. The wind shook the leaves on trees. A fish splashed among the water.Cosmic began to join in, she recited a poem;
Have you seen the Sunset and Sunrise?
And the Horizon that's a prize.
How the colors mix and melt.
And look as soft as felt.
How they float away into black.
As you wish them back.
And that feeling that makes you sad.
How the tears come and just make you mad.
But then you see the stars.
That are so small they could fit in jars.
Now there's so many.
You'd by each one with a penny.
How they shine so bright.
And don't put up a fight.
So you stand watching them twinkle and shine.
Then you realize you feel fine.
So you sigh.
And say goodbye.
The melody of the creatures of the night continued. All the sounds harmonizing each other as they blended together. The night was pleasant as the crickets chirped a lullaby. All the sounds greeting the Aurora Borealis that they had missed forever so long.
