[2]: “Ow.”
Paloma was staring down at the protrusion from her fur with an expression of pure indignation, as though it was merely a thorn that had caught on her rather than Cupid’s arrow.
The dragon that had been proposing a luscious bouquet of flowers to her only smiled nervously and held them out a little further. “Sooo? Will you… go out with me?”
She glanced up, and as those dark-chocolate eyes settled on them, they waited in anticipation for the moment she fell. But then—
“Uh. No. Thanks,” she tacked the last word on a bit awkwardly, but with a tone that suggested this wasn’t her first time turning someone down, “but I don’t feel the same.”
They stared at her, face riddled with bewilderment as they looked from her to the arrow and back. “What? But- but-”
“Oh, this?” She yanked the arrow out of her fur and gestured with it nonchalantly. “Yeah, I’m immune.”
Somehow, they looked even more confused than before. “What?”
“This is actually, like, the third time this has happened this week.” She rolled her eyes, appearing as though she had not a care in the world. “But it’s never going to work on me!” she shouted to the sky, most likely to the little winged devil she knew was lurking around here somewhere.
The other dragon simply blinked owlishly at her, at a complete loss for words.
Paloma forced a bright smile onto her snout. “Well, if you don’t mind, I have some friends to meet. Good luck finding your special someone!” And with that, she spun around, leaving them standing there with a limp bouquet of flowers in paw.
“What??”

Crowley wasn't one for romance most of the time, honestly, but he wasn't above helping out his members of his flock when they were trying to impress a potential mate. He only wanted the best for his flock, and he wasn't above playing matchmaker, for them either. Giving two little birds just a little bit of a nudge here or there, or helping one of them find the shiniest of trinkets to present to their little hearts' beloved. None of it was below him, so long as it served to further the happiness of his flock. Crowley was, in more ways than one, the Ultimate Wingman.
