Chickpeas are a large variant subspecies of owls and peregrine falcons.
They can vary in size, some the size of budgies and others the size of small ostriches.
Many owners adorn their Chickpeas with bell collars and sometimes even saddles.

Normal ears, normal tail, normal wings
⇒ Common:
head feather edits, cere edits, heterochromia, custom ears, tail
⇒ Uncommon:
Longer/shorter plumage, sclera colour, tongue edits, pupil shape/colour, bigger or smaller beak
⇒ Rare:
Missing limbs, extra/ missing eyes, glow/shine/sparkle, horns made out of gems, two or more tails, munchkinism, tailless, wingless, approved natural mutations/body scarring or injuries, horns on the head
⇒ Very Rare:
Wings, magical abilities, transparency, multiple limbs or heads, halos, elemental abilities, scales, griffins, horns on the body

✓Adopt up unlimited Chickpeas, including staff customs and offspring
✓Draw them as much as you like
✓Trade or gift a Chickpeas, but only after having it for a minimum of a week (nursery = 1 week minimum). Please do contact the archivist if this is the case.
✓You may add as many accessories to your Chickpeas as you would like. Changing the expression (within reason) is allowed too. (Please note that collars are there for anyone's use, as they are to show the bean has been adopted)
✓Roleplay with your Chickpeas. Go crazy (but no too crazy, ey.)
✓Pm me if there are any problems at all
✓Pm (sidekick goes here) if I am away and you need help desperately

✗Use your Chickpeas on any other species lines
✗ Do not mark this topic more than once. It is considered spam or bumping. Breaking this rule will result in a warning or strike.
✗ Chickpeas are a closed species. You may not make your own without my permission.
✗ Chickpeas are not allowed to become your “fursona”
✗ You are not allowed to alter/ change your Chickpea's design in any way
✗ Editing beyond changing facial expressions and accessories is not allowed, unless you have items that allow you to do so.

ＭＡＴＥＳ

↳ Chickpeas can be of any romantic or sexual orientation and have as many partners as they choose, and can be bred with any other gender to produce offspring (yay for imaginary species)
↳ Chickpeas can be bred up to three times in their lifetime
↳ The mate does not have to be the same for every breeding
↳ Incestuous relationships are NO
↳ Adult x young relationships are NO
↳ You are not allowed to message an artists about a breeding slot. Artists will open breeding slots on their terms.
↳ It takes two weeks before a peep can be grown (anyone is able to grow their peep)
↳ A breeding can result between 1-2 peeps (the number of offspring will be decided using a number generator) - see nursery guidelines
↳ Users must wait a minimum of one week before they can breed their Chickpeas after receiving it
↳ Users must wait two weeks after breeding their Chickpeas before they are allowed to breed again
↳ You may only request that the nursery artist rolls for mutations if you have an item that allows for this

ＣＵＳＴＯＭＳ

↳ Currently only staff members may create customs
↳ Staff have an upon hire one trait Rare and below custom that they may create themselves or request for an artist to do so
↳ Artists may turn down other staff's request
↳ Customs must be put under a cover (obviously following CS guidelines) until they are approved
↳ Customs can be claimed based on how many adopts the staff member has made / how long the staff member has been apart of the team for (e.g. if the artist makes one adopt a month, they will be granted a common myo and the more they make, the higher the rarity would be)

Honourable Mentions System (HM's)

Q: How does it work?
A: Whenever an artist feels that a user deserves a shout out for their form, they have the opportunity to give that user an honourable mention.

Q: What does an honourable mention get me?
A: Through collecting HM's:

- 5 HM's gets you standard custom
- 10 HM's gets you a common custom
- 15 HM's gets you an uncommon custom
- 25 HM's gets you a rare custom
- 100 HM's gets a very rare custom
