Depends on what you mean by "host." If you're doing the coding yourself (or using Mysidia, etc) then you can use x10hosting for free, and then there are plenty of great ones that are pay-only but pretty cheap and reliable hosts such as Host Gator, 1&1Hosting, and such. There are tons of good payed hosts to choose from, but if you need a free host it's a little harder to find.

If you mean a host as in a website that does the coding for you, there's myvirtualpetsite, easyrpg, and maybe a few others...not many, though.

Basically all of your questions can be answered with: "Learn to code it yourself or pay someone else to." Or you can use a free, premade script that has all of these functions built into it such as Mysidia Adoptables.

Easyrpg.com is acting up for me. Every time I try to log onto my site to make it, it redirects me to some advertising site! Is it me, or easyrpg.com?

EasyRPG is an incredibly glitchy, buggy host. I do not recommend using it if you wish to make a "serious" site simply because the coding is so faulty, as is the security.
