all i was saying was that the den beta worth only works when youre trading FOR den betas; just because they're the same in den betas, doesnt mean they equal the equivalent of those den betas in spikes.

yes, exactly! done with people saying that their black short and 2 clothing betas are worth a red long just because of den beta worth. i've never seen someone ask for low demand items for their good long. Lol

You don't see people take 3 bad longs for their black long, even though 3 bad longs add up to den beta's worth of a black long

I have a question: why are the 2nd birthday cakes so rare/so high in demand compared to the other cakes? I never see people looking for the first or third, or any other cake besides the second one.

I think it's mainly just that you happen to be around people that either already have the other cakes, or people who can't afford the 1st cake and/or are aiming for slightly easier cakes for a collection. There's also the possibility that there just aren't that many 1st birthday cakes circulating in trades at the moment, so people are going for other cakes instead, with the 2nd cake being next in the list. Also keep in mind that the gap between values of the 1st cake and the 2nd cake is pretty large (1st cakes are worth a good long and up, while 2nd cakes are worth only a black long wrist up to a good short collar), so people are more willing to trade them than they are to trade the higher value cake, especially considering that these cakes will never be released again, so their value will only rise.

the wings are worth (in aj) a decent short collar, aka yellow or pink.
