I love Xanje. I literally came here from there. It's a nice, welcoming community with generous people and a head-spinning number of pet patterns (like nearly 100 species and literally thousands of patterns and more coming every month). There's always something to do (chat, play games, camp out in Stray Meadow or Lindini Forest looking for strays, battle, play Explorer, raise a garden, craft stuff, breed, surf the Market for pets you want, etc.) If you can get past the elitist "nothing is worthwhile unless it's G1" attitude a lot of people there have you can get almost every single pet on the site, including most of the paid pets, for $0 spent. There are a few (think 4 or 5) species that came out right when the site started and haven't been re-released, so many of them are in inactive accounts and impossible to find, but there's been staff talk of possible re-releases of some of those lately. I could spend hours a day there and never be bored.

Yeah, the art is an acquired taste I think, I like some pet designs and not others, so I mostly just collect the linearts I like!

i loveee xanje!! they are always looking for new members. the people there are so kind!! there is so much to do over there. pet collecting (there's even pet companions now?!?!), breeding, playing games, buying and selling, forums, events, and so much more. even art boards now i think!! i just started last month and finding out about the halloween and christmas events was exciting! people from around xanje gift each other's event bags with items and pets, and at the end of the month we get to open our bags ^-^ it's not over yet if anyone wants to join, and christmas month is coming up too! referral link is in my signature if anyone wants to check it out : )

i notice some aspects of the site were a little confusing as a newbie, but they have been working on that quite a bit recently. they're super open to new players, and are actually in search of newbie suggestions to make the site easier. there is so much to do on there, it took me a little to figure out everything there is, and what exactly i was there for. with the help of other players and the help board in the forums, i got the hang of it quick!

I for really saw this , checked the game out and somehow spent wayyyyyyg to long down the rabbit hole.

I’m still trying to figure stuff out but overall I like the game so far.

Yes, there are for sure things that could be improved on. Like it was a bit iffy in some spots due to me on my phone, the battle screen was way too large and had to guess at most of it.
and if there was some stylistic additions that appealed more in some ways I’d be in trouble. However everyone has preferences.. I like many of them. Then again that’s what growth, community and artist are for. To grow and create.

Def looking forward to playing.
