200 is the standard starting limit for most events, so itβs the same as usual Iβm pretty sure
Oh yea, 200 is completely normal for the first banner limit. What isn't usual is how long we've gone without a banner limit raise. The fastest banner hunters usually hit the limit 4-5 days into event (you can easily hit 45-50 banners a day when you have nothing else to do even if you sleep) and the limit is then raised one or two days after that, so like on day 5 or 6. We're on day 7 now. The banner limit would usually have been raised for the first time at this point but it just hasn't, so more people are hitting the first limit than normally.
^ this is super interesting! i wanna offer two cases for hitting 200 banners by the end of day 7.
we already have our βsuperhumanβ number of 72 ban/day and βdouble perfectβ number of 41-48 ban/day.. we can back-calculate to figure out what if someone reached 200 at the end of day 7, and either had low availability (but clicked asap), or inconsistent banner clicks (but was available all day)
1. perfect efficiency, reduced availability: clicks within 3 min of each 20 min timer but sleeps for 8 hours and has ~6.7 hr commitments on weekdays (40.8 ban/weekend & 23.7 ban/weekday)
2. reduced efficiency, perfect availability: clicks inconsistently, 8.1 min delayed on average, but sleeps for 8 hours and has no other commitments (28.6 ban/day)
these cases seem quite reasonable. a 6.7 hr commitment could easily be school, and someone remembering to check a banner per 28 min is quite good with no timer reminder. iβd be curious the standard deviation on availability and efficiency.. if it is normally distributed.
also, i have a correction on my previous post. the way i was counting my days was weird, so all my dates were one day too early. oops. my bad.
