Toadleap is a naturally curious tom,
who likes to discover new things. He
is opened minded and always ready for
adventure. Despite this, he is mature
and knows when to take something
seriously, such as a message from starclan.
He is trustworthy, loyal, observant, protective,

Toadleap was born to Snowstep and Tigerstripe, along with his two siblings, Applekit and Eaglekit. Applekit was the quietest of the bunch and was very much a Mummy's girl, whilst Eaglekit was brave and handsome, already catching the attention of a few of the female kits. Toadkit got on well with all his family and his clan mates and was happy all the time, but sadly that was about to change. One snowy night in leaf-bare a group of rogue cats attacked Gorseclan, killing many beloved cats. During this time Snowstep and the medicine cat, Whitefoot, were helping a new Queen, Poppycloud, kit. A rouge entered the nursery and attacked Snowstep who was now trying to protect the kitting Queen and the other kits. Applekit stood beside her mother along with her friends Cinderkit, Smokekit and Sandkit, whilst Eaglekit and Toadkit snarled protectively. Just when hope seemed to be lost, the rouge attacked Snowstep again, breaking her leg, once the Queen was down, there was no one to protect the kits but Whitefoot, who was trying to manage two jobs at once. Eaglekit, seeing his chance, charged the rouge and attacked but the rouge was quicker and swiftly ended Eaglekit's life. It was Toadkit that renamed him Bravekit. After this Toadkit begged Whitefoot to teach him the ways of the medicine cat and eventually Whitefoot took him as his apprentice. he trained hard, and learnt quickly before becoming a medicine cat at the age of 13 moons and earning his name, Toadleap.
