I wish I could have lived longer in SeaClan. I'd love to have seen those kits of Brightstream and Vinescratch grow up to be the fine adults they are now. But StarClan had a reason for calling Smallwing and me back so quickly. ...To be honest, at least we weren't like Owlfrost, who joined a few moons before his untimely death.

S M A L L W I N G

I liked living in a Clan, you know. It was much more interesting than at the house with my former housefolk- uhh I mean, Twolegs. Yeah. Anyway, it hadn't been long that I'd been in the Clan, like Mottledsmoke, but we grew attached. We were good warriors, I suppose, gaining entrance to StarClan like that. I... hope I fought as ferocious as a lion back before I came here!

I was forced to flee my old Clan, along with Junipertail and Ravenwish. I was quite surprised there was another cat with the name Storm- here in SeaClan, but I couldn't quite take to the idea of taking a new name, so I stuck with Stormbreeze. It has a bit of a charm to it, I suppose. And when Stormfang did that... I knew I had to stand up to him, for both Leafstar's and SeaClan's sake. I'm no evil cat like him, and I intend to prove it til my last breath.

Junipertail was scared. He had come from LeafClan to start over, but now he was locked in battle with murderous birds intent on ripping his throat out. The gray-and-white tom clawed at a crow who had managed to latch onto his ear before he bolted. He didn't care what the rest of SeaClan would say. He didn't want a part of this battle. The tom didn't know which way he was going and only stopped when he realized that he had left the Pine Grove through the other side, as he noticed a small clearing before another stretch of pine forest. Junipertail glanced behind him, where the air was thick with the harsh caws and yowls of cats, and then back in front of him, where no such sound came out. Making up his mind, the gray-and-white tom raced to the other stretch of pine trees, thinking, 'I'd rather live as a rogue than die in that StarClan-forsaken place.'

Stormfang had it right. I was a former LeafClan cat, but at least I was a Clan cat. Silkfeather claimed she was from a Clan called SycamoreClan, but none of us have ever heard of that Clan. For all we know, she was a former rogue sly-talking to get approval from goody-two-paws Leafstar. But then when I was forced down, and Stormfang forced to execute me in front of his own mate... I felt pity for the boss. He still had love, a she-cat called Goosewing, that tied him down. Stormfang did the right thing, killing me instead of defiantly waiting execution himself. Now, I await in Dark Forest, waiting for my old friends to come when they are meant to come.

Stormfang had some good in him. That's why I fell in love with him. He even loved me back- I don't think a true cold-hearted cat would love a molly like he did... But what he did was wrong. Horrendous, terrifying. What he did was irreparable damage to both his reputation and SeaClan, both physically and mentally. The kits I bear are Stormfang's kits... yet I am astonished that after the kits found out, they are quite accepting of the truth. I worry for them, even though I know they will bear it upon their shoulders well.

I thought I'd lost Honey forever when we parted ways... I meant to turn back after a couple days and look for him, but... I suppose our ancestors work in mysterious ways, as I found him again, now as a medicine cat of a clan called SeaClan, by the name of Honeytuft. I gladly joined my brother's clan, and I had a good time while it lasted. StarClan intended me to save Leafstar, and so I did. That prophecy is fulfilled, and a new one, now completed, replaced it. Now, I'm glad, there will be a time for peace at last for the Clan by the Sea.
