It makes little sense why a girl so good at
cooking is so bad at potions. Born and raised
in a muggle household, Gabrielle's parents
taught her what they could so that she could
grow up and be an independent,
self-supporting woman. She spent lots of
time in the small playground down the
street, using her imagination to pretend she
was the heroine in various fantasy scenarios.
Sometimes she would climb trees with the
neighborhood boys, but after a nasty fall
that fractured her left ankle and left a scar
on her thigh, she hates heights. When she
was older, she cooked for herself when both
her parents were at work. The letter was
totally unexpected, but a couple months
later, Gabrielle was waving goodbye to her
parents and boarding the Hogwarts Express.
Her first year at Hogwarts was a mess—
constantly cautious about using magic, even
under teacher supervision. But as she grew
more comfortable with living in the wizard
world, her skills developed. Astronomy was
always easy, especially since she was and
still is fascinated by stars. Transfiguration
and charms became her strongest subjects.
And so, as the years went on, Gabrielle had
found her place in Hufflepuff and in Hogwarts,
which she now considered her home.
Most people call Gabrielle a
sweetheart after just meeting her.
But when they get to know her
more, they find out that there
is more to the witch than their
first impression. She's good at
comforting others in difficult
times, and she often values
others' happiness above her own.
She'd rather hear about other's
peoples troubles and share
the burden than complain about
what is going on in her life—she
does not want to be a bother.
Gabrielle prefers to avoid
arguments and confrontations
and keep the peace instead.
But when confrontation is
unavoidable, she will stand up
for herself and argue back if
necessary. More on the quiet
side, she only talks more when
around friends and people
she trusts. She's afraid of saying
something stupid or embarrassing
herself in front of strangers, so
she keeps to herself around
others she does not know well.
