Personality: Peter is a smart, pleasant and friendly, and a complete charmer with his British accent and classic 'good looks'. He isn't much of a flirt, but when he does get some interest, he's a hopeless romantic. He was raised in his rich family though, and isn't accustomed to those with 'lesser' privileges. It's not that he's snobby, he just doesn't understand that some people don't have what he has. He is a complete animal lover, and takes great pride in his riding achievements. Explaining and teaching agility to other brings him to life, and he doesn't get overly excited about much else. He really wants to be a professional animal trainer side along with working for his fathers company, though if he was honest with himself, he isn't completely sure he wants to be a lawyer...
History: Having moved from the UK when he was 8 with his family, Peter has grown up in Australia ever since, and loves it. His family settled onto a big estate in the Adelaide Hills, being of wealthy means. Having ridden from an early age in England, at boarding school, he continued riding in this new country that he has adopted as home, and particularly found endurance riding a fascinating and yet surprisingly complex sport.
When he turned 12, he was given a foal to train of his very own, to raise as he wanted and specialise in whatever he wanted. Raising and training Melody in conjunction with his studies, and living with everything he needed, it was only natural that when he graduated, he would take a year or two to do whatever he wanted before joining his fathers law firm. The stables and mustering were a natural step, and it wold give Melody a break from competition.

Personality: Melody is a calm, collected, and amazing mare, with a lot of practice and experience under her belt. She is a fit horse, and though she thrives better under experienced riders, or even better, her owner Peter, she is quiet enough to be trusted with those riders who aren't as sure of their skills as some of the more advanced. Melody knows how to relax, and seems very close with Peter, being that she's known him since she can remember, and has experienced so much with him.
History: Melody was brought for Peter as a present when he turned 12 years old, and was from a long line of successful eventers. She was marked for her color and her sweet nature, and thrived under the ownership of the Millers. When she was old enough to be backed and ridden, they found out very quickly that she had amazing stamina, and an endurance horse was born. Peter had found his companion. Since then, they have entered many a race, some overseas in America and Europe, and have done quite well for themselves.

Personality: Digger is quite a calm young horse... when he is in his stall. When he is taken out, and let to run, he turns into a complete firecracker. Head bobbing, sidestepping and snorting are a normal thing with this horse, as the excitement just gets too much for him, and he can't help but express it. He doesn't mean to harm anyone- he's just big and bulky and forgets that humans are fragile. He is more than willing to work though, and listens well, with a good teach-ability level.
History: Digger was brought at a sale the first time that Peter ever went to one. He had been looking for a good project horse, and when he saw the gorgeous color of the Waler, he couldn't go past him. Even better that he had come from brumby stock. The cheapest horse in the Miller stables, he is the one that Peter chose to go with him to the stables, so he can continue his training in what he was designed to do- stockwork and trails.

Personality: Sirius is as good natured as his master is. While he could never be a happy lap dog, he is a bit of a smooch in the evening, but is out and about and with Peter every moment he gets during the day, and keeps up. He is not bothered by the horses at all, and they don't seem to be bothered by him. He is very obedient, and will obey his commands- most of the time. He's very friendly with other dogs, and enjoys romping around with them when he has the time. He loves water, and is probably most often seen lying in a cool puddle somewhere, enjoying the shade or the sun, depending on his mood.
History: Sirius was brought from a backyard breeder for Peter as a pup, and has been with him ever since. Initially, he played the role of family pet, but he was trained early on to do what he was bred to do- retrieve ducks and game that had been shot and bring them back to his Master. It only happened when Peter was brought out to hunt with his father, an avid shooter. It was after Peter turned 18 that he decided to change Sirius's focus, and started him on dock diving, a sport he loves very much.

Personality: Tess is a bouncing ball of blue fluff. She is an active, in-your-face, exuberant and lively pup, who just doesn't seem to stop, until the end of the day, where she curls up as close to Peter as she can get in her bed and snores herself to sleep. Like any of her breed, she has a lot of energy, and being the youngest of the dogs, she can get a bit much sometimes. Peter is working on training her though, and she loves to please him, catching onto things quite quickly- when she's not chasing other animals.
History: Tess was a stray that Peter found on his families property, and after no one claimed her at the pound, he came back and adopted her, taking her in just in time to take her to the stables with him. He caught her initially when she was trying to round up the families ducks, and Peter decided it was quite easy to see what she would be when she grew up- a herder.
