Vampires - also known as "The Children of Night" - are one of the five types of beings in the world. Over the centuries, humans have made up ridiculous notions about vampires such as Stephanie Myers sparkling vampires or Bram Stoker’s ugly bat turning vampire or the fact that vampires burn in sunlight. In fact, sunlight doesn’t irritate or harm them what-so-ever.

Vampires mate like Lions or Wolves; the female chooses her companion and is the male accepts than they are mates for life.

When creating another vampire, the creator must first drain a human of his or her blood and then feed the human some of their own vampire blood to complete the transformation. The vampire that creates the new vampire is known as their "sire" or in some close-nit familial situations they are referred to as their "mother" or "father" and will take on their surname.
