- note: I usually prefer the male character. in some plots, the genders and roles can be swapped. just ask if you wish.
- a guardian angel is assigned to look after a specific human- in human form. he/she is supposed to stop the human from doing something that could actually ruin more than anyone knows. it is a rule that they cannot have feelings for the human or have a relationship with any human. while trying to get close to the target, though, he/she begins to have feelings for them.
- character a, a fallen angel in the form of a human, is trying to get back to heaven. not because they want to be taken back, but because they believe they can be taken back then cause chaos and destruction. character a finds character b, a human who they believe to be of some importance to a big plan. some fate that is controlled by angels for a bigger cause. a wants to use b to get to the angels. however, as a does this, they both begin to fall for each other. a soon finds out that the plan involved b being killed. knowing of the feelings a has for b, a tries to stop it. in the process, b finds out the truth that a was just using them.
- same as the above, but with character a as an angel assigned to control the plan as a human. a grows attached to b and tries to stop b from being killed.
- an angel and a fallen angel meet while trying to protect and destroy one important human. either the angels are the opposite sex and begin to be attracted towards the other, or the human is the other character and the two angels begin to fight over the human. in this case, perhaps the human chooses one angel who is not the other main character, then the other angel finds some way to get the human back to their side.
- Character B is a powerful magician living in a world full of humans. Banished from his own world, he was forced to live with the humans, who had no clue just what magic and dangers lay beyond the boundaries of their world. Character A is a curious person... Perhaps too curious. One day, while out (doing something, I dunno), A overhears B talking about some very strange things... Thing that they had read in a book of myths. Character A noticed that B was talking about these things as if they were real, and, their curiosity piqued, A went to follow B.
B soon finds out that A had been following and turned to catch her. B asks what she had heard or seen and after finding that she knew too much already (enough to know that his magic was real) he tells her that he must kill her. However, by the time that B is about to kill A, A has convinced B not to kill them. B decides to keep A close as a captive and makes sure that she can't tell anyone. Eventually, B finds that they are quickly falling for A (or vice versa) - everyone has a soul mate. they might not know each other. they could be anyone. whoever they are, they're meant to be together. even if one of them dies.
characters A and B have gone to school together since elementary school. however, A has never noticed B, or at least never thought much about them. B has had a crush on A for as long as they can remember even though A would never recognise them.
all their life, character A has experienced strange, seemingly paranormal occurrences that everyone says is simply their imagination. they're not even sure if it is their imagination or not.
these two are soulmates.
when B dies, they find themselves following A for one last time before moving on. before they make the decision to leave, though, they notice strange things following their soul mate. spirits that mean nothing but harm. B has the choice between leaving right then or staying forever. to save character A, they choose to say, even if it means living a life where their forever soulmate will be beyond their reach. - blurred lines
what happens when the hero becomes the villain?
character a, a hero known well in a widespread area, has been protecting people for years. what they do entirely depends on the people they need to stop. it's possible that the power has gotten to their head. maybe their ego has been inflated just a little too much.
character b is a villain, thought to have the worst intentions in mind. the problem is, no one listens to the villain. it's always "how do they get away with this?" instead of "why would they do this?" it has always been, "they did it, so of course it's bad," not "they did it, but was it bad?"
the villain of the story has their reasons, but no one has ever bothered to ask. even the hero.
when the villain gets away numerous times, character a gets frustrated and, consequently, begins to target the people close to character b. obsessed with keeping their reputation, frustrated, and at risk of being defeated by a villain, the hero turns into the one people need to stop.
