tends to make more enemies than friends, and it's probably why he's a str
ay. well, now, anyway. it's not as if it isn't obvious. his breed being rare a
nd few, those churning orange eyes and that spotless white coat. jackal i
s, well, was, a prized family pet. truthfully, house life wasn't all sunshine
and roses. he was bought as an import, taken in for a hefty $7,000. altho
ugh money can buy a fine dog, only love can make his tail wag. that was
something he rarely experienced. they kept him alive, yeah. they fed him
and kept his weight heavy, but there were no walks, no love, simply a ne
w female for him to 'stumble upon' every month or so. he was the money
maker of his family, he wouldn't lie to himself and say it wasn't fun the fi
rst couple times, but it quickly grew tiring and a bit agitating. considering
he didn't have established bonds to his owners other than food, he began
growing closer to the females he met, but that quickly meant he would o
nly have to push them away too. they never stayed long. left. he grew di
stant. he grew angry. then bold. one day, when his boldness grew too larg
e for his muzzle, his owners drew a gun, jack drew blood. then ran away.
