Personality:
zenith is quite the complicated dog when you really
get to know him. by instinct and by his true personality,
he is brooding, judgmental and has a tendency to make
more enemies than friends, though they wouldn't know.
generally appearing non-confrontational and easy to get
along with, zenith hides his true colors and manipulates
others for his own satisfaction. one dog will get some
information about zenith's past life that isn't true, but
entertains him enough to see their reaction. another
will get a totally different story. he finds harmless fun in
this, and doesn't have true malice behind his intentions.
he can't fathom how this would be hurtful to others and
sees it as acceptable, so long no one finds out.
manipulating others and not letting his true self be known.
the less that the others really truly know about him,
the more he feels like he's protecting himself. he goes
to great lengths to construct different personalities
around whatever works in his favor at the time. a serial liar.
naive dogs are an easy target, feeling sorrowful for him or
feeling like he's respectable beyond measure depending on
what side they know, neither one being true. those who are
more discerning find him off-putting at worst, but hes never
met anyone smart enough to gain real facts about him.
there's a chance he could change for the better, whether
its by being manipulated himself, gaining real feelings for
someone, tough love, or even by the grace of god meeting
someone with a good enough heart to shift his conscience and
change his reckless way of interacting with others. he has
always practiced changing his personality to fit whatever
situation he may be in, in his earlier days as a survival
technique and now as a bad, deeply ingrained habit that
comes naturally without hesitation. truthfully he doesn't even
know his real personality anymore, and is starting to grow
tired of putting on this show after being shown the real
kindness of the pack. he must choose between being truthful
about himself, or keeping up with the lies he's habitually
constructed.

being abandoned and forgotten, he
became a stray. scavenging for scraps

extreme side of both ends though, and
wasn't sure where to draw the line.
to humans who seemed threatening, he
was quick to bare his teeth and scare

but he was quick to judge and most if not all
of those he perceived as threats really weren't
harmful at all. when he found humans who seemed
to be charmed by his fluffy fur and brown eyes, he
played the part. showing his belly to be petted,
nuzzling into them and even following
them until he got what he wanted and needed,
food. it was his way of surviving, and eventually
this shifted from people to dogs as
