self. he's possessive, jealous and cynical, and won't even flinch if blood
spills. he enjoys the dirty work of killing, though he prefers sufferment

amelia was born in a town, ten miles away from the masdurett castle. her
mother, jophiel-sveihylde, was a valkyrie who had fallen because she had
conceived a child which is considered a sin to the swan-maidens. even when
amelia was much younger, she had a constant craving for knowledge which
would bring her into much trouble with her father, terrance. he was not a
good man until he stepped outside of the house, always ridiculing his wife
and daughter around behind doors. a fire that started in town sent jophiel
and terrance to leave their child in an orphanage mid-way between their
home and the castle. soon after jophiel said her goodbyes, she and her
husband headed back to the town to help tend to the fire. it raged for three
days, destroying most of the buildings and killing all but a couple of people
who were helping put it out— including jophiel. terrance never returned for
his daughter, leaving her to live in the orphanage until she was adopted by
the royal family at the age of seven. ever since then, amelia has been the
fourth heir to the throne of masdurett and the keeper of the grimoire
chronicles which are hidden in the grand library
