To those people who'd like a character to appear in the comic, Wolf Song, here's your chance. wolves12 and I are in need of filler characters for the saber-toothed mountain lions in one of the coming up pages. Any character can be in it, no matter the species. I will just put the markings onto a saber-toothed mountain lion. And don't worry, I will say which character belongs to who. I will not claim them as my own.

I'm planning to have three or four cameos, so I will chose randomly who will get the cameo. Those who win, will be sent a private message from me saying that they have won a spot for the cameo. I will draw the usernames out of a hat (or something like it), so that it will be totally random and fair.

If you do want to try for a cameo, please post a link to your character's reference sheet in your comment, or describe your character. You may only try for one character, otherwise it may get confusing for me.

If you don't win this time, don't worry. There will probably be more casting calls in the future, so you can have a second chance.

Yep. Thats right. I'm making a comic thingy on Oekaki. It will be black and white, sketchy stuff like this. Yeah.

Against the World is about a lion-like big cat named Kamikaze, who's current life is a murdurer, killing other big cats in any pride or clan as his employer wants. He goes from place to place, finding someone who will pay big bucks for a cat to be killed. Kamikaze does not only do this job, he does it well. He has had his share of fights and close getaways, he his hated and hunted for constantly. But as mean as he seems, his life used to be like any other big cat. He used to shake his head when news got around that another cat had been killed by a lion like himself. He had a family, a mate, everything he wanted. His life was going so smoothly, until.... well, you'll find out, of course.

Okay, this world of big cats is not like normal prides or clans of cats in real life. They have a money system, they have a goverment, etc etc. But they are cats, big cats. Domestic cats like the common household pet are unknown of. The big cats do share their world with others that are intelligant like them, canines, bears, and numerous other animals, normally predators. Animals that usually fall prey to big cats, canines, etc, are not intelligent, and are like normal animals in the real world. A few of these creatures, such as horses and suprizingly gemsbok and mountain goats, are like the predators. Birds of prey are also like this, but do not have their own cities and systems, they are normally servants to the quads, if they chose to be so (they don't have to be, its their choice).

Anyways, I hope to get more pages every other day, weekly perhaps, and hope that you peeps like it ^^ Its sketchy, yes, but thats just how the whole comic is going to be. I'm going to get ref sheets for some of the characters you will be introduced to, so you can see their actual colors

Yep. Page two. Full view of Kamikaze, so you sees what he looks like :3 He's missing a leg, he has gold rings on each of the toes of his front right paw, he carries an awesomely awesome sword. The symbol in the bottom right corner will be explained later Poor Kami, he's lost everything D:

Oh yeah, and there will be backgrounds later. But this part is kind of a prolouge, kinda.

Evil shadow lion is evil. And...shadowey. Yeah, he will also be explained later.

Just a little experiment with a little idea I had, comic style, whatever you call it. No comments please...I'm really bad at humans so everything didn't come out how I wanted.

Mr.Worm:don't worry... i can be sliced in half and then there'll be two of me!!! and i won't feel anything accept a dull scraping sensation...it doesn't hurt!!
Shell: fine...i'm in....
Seaweed:......
Shell: you wanted to help him too you know!! Sea...stop standing there and DO SOMETHING!!
Seaweed:sorry! gosh...fine...i'm in!!
Shell:*whistles*
Seaweed:oh yeah!!!we have a sea horse!!
Mr.Worm: ok!! well...stop dilly dallying and get me down!!
Seaweed: sorry...on the count of 3!!
Shell and Sea:1......2..........3!!!!!!
*gives a great heave*
Mr.Worm: i'm freeeeeeeeee!!!!
Seaweed: hurry!! get on the horse!!!
Horse: Neigh!!Neigh!! A worm?? this is new....
Shell: uh-oh...i smell parrannahs!!!
Mr.Worm: you...SMELL....parrannahs?? ohkaaaay....
Seaweed: i do too!! they have this oyster and seaweed smell to them...*shudders*
*hears clamping in the distance*

Shell: we have lionfish!! they are usually inside the libraries reading kelp...
Seaweed: and we have tigerfish in the police department!!
Shell: but we've never even heard of a bear!!
Mr.Worm: be glad you haven't....now could you help me down from here??? i feel ridicolous!!
Shell: let me talk this over with my friend first...ok?
