Oekaki Rules and Information
by Tess @ Mon Oct 01, 2012 12:19 am [Reply]

All images made in the oekaki board must follow our general Art Rules - however, there are some extra rules specific to the Oekaki that you should be aware of;

Oekaki-specific Rules

What you should do:

  • Keep comments polite, helpful, and relevant to the artwork. Critique is allowed if requested by the artist - but bare insults are not welcome here.
  • Make an effort to post your drawing in the correct board. For example, if you color in an Editable drawing, post it into the 'Colored-in' board. If you are new to oekaki and your artwork isn't of a very high standard yet, post in the Beginners board until you've had more practice.
  • If using an editable, follow the artist's rules! This may include leaving a signature/watermark layer on the final image, or may prevent you from selling colored-in versions as adoptables.
What you shouldn't do:
  • Don't post excessively bloody/gory/violent images, nudity, or anything else which might be inappropriate for younger viewers.
  • Do not post blank canvases in the contests board. Contests may be posted there only if you provide a lineart or background for contestants to use in their entries. If you don't need people to edit something in particular, go to the Regular Art Competitions Board to create your topic. You can still make a rule that your contestants make their entries in the Oekaki boards if you prefer it that way.
  • Don't make Oekaki drawings with just words or puzzles written on them. The oekaki is for sharing artwork, not for displaying a message or playing a forum game.
  • Don't spam the oekaki with random 10 second scribbles or advertisements and trade requests.
  • Religious themes are allowed in most boards EXCEPT in the Editable or Adoptable boards. Please keep these images for the Beginners, Intermediate, or Sketches boards instead.
  • Don't post offensive images imposing your beliefs on others. You are free to express your beliefs in a peaceful way, but not by hating on or denouncing any other person or group of people.
  • Don't create Oekaki topics just to share art you've created elsewhere. Art drawn in another program should be posted in the appropriate board (for example: non-Oekaki adopts go in User-made Adoptables).

Changing Thread Ownership
Is your topic changing owner? Are you taking over someone else's art shop or adoptables?
As part of a new rule, you may need to formally notify CS staff about these changes, so please read for more information:

If you are transferring ownership of an art topic with continuing services (e.g. adoptables and original species adoptions, group artist shops, etc) you need to write a New Ownership Contract and submit this to CS staff. Both the current and future topic owner should send copies of the same contract to CS Staff using the help system.

To write your New Ownership Contract you need to include these details:
  • Username(s) of the old and new owner(s)
  • Links to all affected topics
  • All terms, conditions, and limitations of the transfer - For example what the future owner is and is not allowed to do, whether it is temporary (set time frame) or permanent, and conditions that would allow or prevent the old owner from taking ownership back or having content removed.
Any later changes/updates to the contract will need to be submitted the same way - both the old and new owners must each send a copy of the changes they've agreed to.

Ownership of these topics will not be switched over until we have copies of the contract sent in from both the new and old owner. If you're having trouble writing your contract please send us a help ticket for support.

If there are any disputes or ownership problems with the topic in future, staff will refer to this contract so they can resolve the matter quickly.

Selecting a different version of ChibiPaint
We have 2 versions of ChibiPaint to choose from. The newer version (ChibiPaint v2.0) allows you to use extra features like rotating your canvas.
You can choose "ChibiPaint v2.0" on your Oekaki settings page here:

If you don't know how to get started, go to the Beginner Oekaki. When you create a 'New Topic' it will load ChibiPaint for you.
You need Java to view it, and once you create and send a picture it will feature at the top of your new topic.

Try these guides before asking questions:

Frequently Asked Questions

How does art get 'featured' for the front page?
Featured art is hand-picked by a staff member to make it appear on the front page. Only recent artwork can appear in the featured box. The lucky artists are chosen if we think their drawing is particularly beautiful or creative and deserving of special attention. Often some of the site's 'best' artwork doesn't get featured because we believe it will attract enough attention on its own.

Will you feature my artwork please?
We don't take requests or recommendations. There are not many places available for featured art, so many people just miss out. Don't take it personally, if you haven't been featured then your drawing is just one among tens of thousands which didn't get featured that week. It doesn't mean we think you're unworthy, it just means you're not incredibly lucky.

How does art get into the "most popular" categories?
The "most popular" boards are sorted automatically based on the number of "likes" they have. They are set up to include the top images from a range of different boards so that even Beginners and Sketches have a chance of being displayed amongst the top Intermediate artwork.

Can COPPA users post in the oekaki?
Yes, but all of their posts require post approval from a moderator before they appear in the forum.

I'm a COPPA user. What happened to my post? When will it be approved?
If you don't see your recent post appearing in the oekaki boards then it is probably waiting for a staff member to approve it. This might take a few minutes, or a few hours, depending on how many staff are available right now. Please be patient, staff have to read and approve nearly 1000 posts per day, sometimes it just takes a while for yours to be seen.

Rise is an adoptable based on Warrior Cats and focused around world building and character development.

...because who doesn't need a ton of warrior cat characters?

Seeking an archivist.
You MUST be detail oriented, consistent, and careful with your work. It is a huge job, and it is an important job... but it is not for everyone.
Please message me if you are interested. Include why you would be good for the job and any examples of past archive work/organization if you have them. I'm not looking for fancy coding. Experience is not necessary as long as you are a good fit.

suitable for CS eg: no personal information or inappropriate language).
Feel free to use deviantart, toyhouse, a site you make specifically for

step three wrote: You start off at Level 0. You are able to level up and grow your clan by completing world building and character development tasks. Don't worry, it's easy and fun from here! Post on the archive thread to level up your clan.

Dia. @ Sat Jan 27, 2018 1:40 pm

The Story Continues

Develop relationships between your characters by drawing or writing about them. Develop characters in the same way. Set up RPs with other members to help develop your characters in the context of other clans. You can collab with other members to complete tasks as well, but both members must submit their own work. Write about or draw scenes depicting important moments for your clan to develop it further. Maybe choose a cat to be your "main character" for a while and focus solely on them and their viewpoints. If you write a story or draw a scene depicting a battle (remember, appropriate for CS), your cat may come back with a scar. You may choose to kill off a character and they will not count towards your cat total. They will be marked deceased and you may use them as an ancestor. Ancestors may still appear in writing and art. Your leader will not lose a life, and your characters will note die, unless you explicitly say so in your scene.

Earning a scar or killing off a character is done through submission of a form in the archives.

Trading, gifting, and selling LIVING Rise cats within Rise is allowed. (Deceased cats may not be sold/traded/gfited) To do so, both parties need to post on the cat's official thread and the person who the cat used to belong to needs to post an amendment in the archive.
You may sell cats within Rise for any online currency (CS, points, sites that let you use their currency like this), but not for real currency. You may also use art, but not non-Rise designs.
A cat may only be transferred every two months. Example: You buy a cat on March 21st. It cannot change owners again until May 21st.
This also applies to cats you win in competitions or your founder. You must own it for two months.

The possibilities are endless.

How to Advance wrote:Each task must be completed before you can get to the next level. Only the high ranks are limited. You can choose what ranks your other cats are.

Drawn scenes should at least be flat colored. Characters must be recognizable.
Written scenes should be at least 200 words.
Character art should be at least a flat-colored headshot.
Tasks fulfilled through an RP must include 3 posts from each party, and each post should be at least 100 words.
Other minimums are listed with the tasks.

You are encouraged to go above the minimums, and may be rewarded for going above and beyond!

For most contests we will be using a point system. Tulips worth 2 points and clovers/hearts worth 1 point.

1 point = 1 ticket. Limit of 5 tickets can be put in weekly with 20 entries on the last week, but once put in you cannot withdraw your offers. When they will be drawn depends on the artist. They are to be drawn using's list organizer. And a picture posted or linked for results. Week 1 (1-7th) Week 2 (8-14) Week 3 (15-21) Week 4 (22-30)

These are fcfs based on a specific amount. This is a total amount in points not specific tokens. They end when the offer is supplied. You must have the tokens updated in the bank before posting to claim.

Auctions will have thirty minute snipe guards, meaning they will end on the last bid on the specified end date thirty minutes after it was posted. Leading bids may not be retracted, these tokens are locked in until you are outbid and no longer the leading bid. Other lower bids may, however, be retracted at anytime.

Staff will post on this thread stating they've hidden something in their posts. These are FCFS to whoever finds and links the post the item is hidden in. Sometimes it's extra tokens, sometimes it's parchments. Parchments turn into GGs and can be redeemed at the end of the event.

There will be three types of tokens that all payout differently depending on what you put them in.
You get a specified token each day of April. It will alternate between the three evenly.

Tulip tokens give you +2 towards flatsales, auctions and raffles.
Daily Claim Days: Day 3, Day 6, Day 9, Day 12, Day 15, Day 18, Day 21, Day 24, Day 27, Day 30.

Clover tokens give you +5 towards the Lucky Lotto.
Daily Claim Days: Day 1, Day 4, Day 7, Day 10, Day 13, Day 16, Day 19, Day 22, Day 25, Day 28.

Heart tokens are the only tokens that may be traded in for golden clovers. Three for one golden clover.
Daily Claim Days: Day 2, Day 5, Day 8, Day 11, Day 14, Day 17, Day 20, Day 23, Day 26, Day 29.

Golden Clovers are jack of all trade tokens. They can give either +2 to the point system, allow you to put an extra token in for the lucky lotto and some adopts may only take golden clovers.
This token has no daily claim. May only be won in stream games, traded in for hearts or hunts.

How do I get more tokens? wrote:You can claim one pre-determined daily, do art for other's tokens, trade tokens, stream games or hunts.

What can I trade tokens for? wrote:You can trade them for other event tokens from this event, for copper from someone else, you can even trade them for art or coding, other's services, etc. I would prefer you did not trade them for c$, cs pets or other currencies however.

What happens if I have leftover event tokens? wrote:They will be saved until next year or may be turned into copper in the Token Shop afterwards.

What time is rollover for the daily claim? wrote:Midnight Central Standard Time.

Here's whose got what. You can only find two from posts, but can get unlimited from stream games.

Welcome to The valley of Kagonn, an adoptable Roleplay Game.
Here you will discover the world of Kagonn, create your own tribe, and develop your characters!
We hope you enjoy your stay!

For those wondering, these mice are unique in a way that although they have natural coat colours they can have almost any eye colour c:
They also have lil tufted tails for communication!

souldier @ Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:02 am

𝕎elcome, traveller, to The Valley Of Kagonn!
Here you can create your own tribe of loyal mice and discover a whole new hidden world.
To start off I'll introduce myself. I'm Feather, a Member of The Tribe Of The Rushing Pines.
Unique, huh? My tribe lies in the middle of a line of pine trees, we fall asleep every night to the sound of
the wind swooshing through the pine boughs.
I just love it here. The feeling of the wind in my fur, the smiles on my tribe mates faces as we laugh and joke
at meal time.. This is the life.
Sorry! I'm getting a bit carried away. Anyway, It wasn't always this way. There was once a time when no mice lived here.
Come, I'll tell you a story. The story of my ancestors.

"𝕃ong long ago, before my tribe - before any tribe, actually - existed, this valley was a vast and unexplored.
There were no mice here. Only the occasional migrating bird or insect dared enter this foreign place.
Until a band of weary Rodents came into the valley from who knows where, and claimed this paradise for their own.
They reproduced and grew in numbers greatly over the next few years.
These mice were The Tribe Of Paradise Plains, the first tribe of our story.
They began to take up special tribe roles and traditions, which are still used to this day.

All was well until a certain mouse was appointed leader. Now usually there are four leaders, and all must agree on something
before it is done, but this mouse, Jag, wanted to lead the tribe himself. Jag was popular among his tribe mates - he was big, handsome, and very cunning. One day he did something terrible, something that was to be the downfall of his tribe - and the beginning of a new era.
Predators were very scarce in these parts, hence the name Paradise Plains.
Until one winter, in the dead of night, a creature was born.
In the season to come this creature, along with Jag, would destroy everything the tribe knew and loved.

In spring, when new life was abundant in the Paradise Plains clan, the creature struck.

It had grown and outlived all others of it's kind in that terrible winter, and become something many feared.
It preyed on those who least expected it. With one leap of a long, slender body and a snap of two terrible jaws death was quick for the mouse unfortunate enough to stray into the path of the creature. Many mice were killed, and the tribe was struck with terror.

Jag was but a builder, with no significant importance within his tribe, but when the creature began taking mice and terrorising the border runners, he felt it his duty to do something about it.
He successfully and heroically led it away with a long trail of bait, getting wounded himself in the process, and came back victoriously to his tribe. There was much dancing and celebrating that night, for alas, the beast was gone!
Or so they thought..

Now the tribe of paradise plains had recently lost a leader, who died peacefully from old age, and demanded that Jag be put in the place of the deceased elder.
The leaders at first denied their request, for Jag was but a young builder with no knowledge of leadership.
But the villagers pleaded, and eventually the next day Jag was put among the leaders, in what many believed to be his rightful place."

But what about the Beast, you say?
How does the story end?
Tragically, unfortunately.
So let us continue...

"𝕎hile the mice were yet still celebrating their victory, and proud Jag accepting all praise and spoils, as to be expected, the beast returned.

For as the tribe later learned, Jag had not led it away, but only made a covenant with it!
He had promised all the young mice of the next season as a meal for the creature, if he would only stay away 2 months, long enough for Jag to become leader. At first the creature had tried to eat him, hence the wound on his leg, but Jag had soon made clear his intentions.
He did a very terrible and foolish thing, for soon, when the creature returned, Jag himself had aquired mate and a family!
The creature demanded its reward, but Jag, being stubborn and proud, as well as foolish, declined his request.
The next few days were chaos. The creature raged full fury on the tribe, and many mice were scattered or killed.
Jag himself was last seen leaping into the river of Kagonn, and to this day no mouse knows his fate.

By next spring the mice of Kagonn had re-established themselves into smaller tribes, some moving higher into the mountains, some staying in the forest below, and some moving in among the reeds of the river bank."

Step one: Create a founder

souldier @ Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:04 am

Be polite

Respect the staff

You may not adopt more mice than your than
your current level allows

Contact me if you no longer want your
Mice, they will be put up for re-adoption

You may create and join Valley of Kagonn roleplays,
But please be sure to follow all the adopt rules.

Maintain your thread
and keep it alive, you can only have one tribe!

These mice only have realistic colours.
If you would like to know more about mouse colours
I would advise doing some research

You may buy one custom mouse every 2 weeks

You may make as much
art of your mice as you want, this is a great way to level up!

Each of your mice has three breeding slots. Choose wisely!

You can not trade or gift your mice.
This rule may change over time, however for the meantime this is not allowed.

You may not move up a level
without completing the required tasks.

You may not edit the lines of your
Mouse or add anything without permission
from the species owner.

Only staff can ask payment for adopts -
Usually this is held as an auction.

You may not sell your
mouse for any type of currency.

Valley of Kagonn mice
are a realistic species and can only be male or female,
and can only breed with the opposite gender.

You may not make custom mice with any
line edits besides scars/expression edits, however you must have my approval before they're official.

Disobeying these rules will result in a ban,
and all your mice will be put up for re adoption.

souldier @ Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:04 am

Well, now that you know the story, let's get you started!
First you need to fill out this form, and your mouse will be created by one of our artists.
Please keep in mind that this is a realistic species, and can not have any unnatural fur colours or markings.
You can only have one founder, so choose carefully!
Also make sure to read through all the rules and guides available!

    Mortems :

Keeper of the souls, Harvester of souls and lover of darkness

    Rules :

By adopting a Mortem you are required to follow these rules

      • do not claim this species as your own creation. Mortems were created by my friend and I.
      • Mortems are a closed species, meaning you cannot make your own. you can only adopt pre-made designs unless they are custom.
      • you may adopt a unlimited number of Mortems.
      • Mortems can be bred, but must be approved By me
      • be kind to fellow Mortem community members! no trash-talking, hate, or bullying or harrassing will be tolerated here!
      • do not ask to be Mortem staff. I will open applications and you can apply there and I will decide myself.
      • this is an LGBTQA+-friendly species. don't like it? Then don't adopt a Mortem.
      • I (Ana) have the right to ban any person from this species who breaks these rules/terms.
      • I (Ana) have the right to confiscate and readopt a Mortem from any user who breaks these rules/terms.

    what are Mortem? :

Mortems are Legendary creatures created By the gods to collect souls of the dead that have served a good life and to destroy and create suffering for those who have done wrong in life. Mortems have a skeletal mask covering their face that shows their status. The whiter the mask the younger the Mortem. Mortems can be any color and are really playful. Mortems live everywhere, from caves, to fields, to underwater, to in the clouds. Some Mortems have wings and others don't. Mortems are identified By their brightly colored ribs that show through their skin.

Mortems are created By the Gods and Goddesses and are considered Holy animals. Killing one is taboo and is punishable with death or eternal suffering. Mortems are practically harmless to humans and can be sweet and caring. Mortems can be owned By humans but only with the permission of the gods. If you obtain a Mortem you are considered a royal. Many people have wild Mortems and only tame them when they come of age. (2 years and 6 months) Mortems fully grow at 1 year 6 months and can be trained at 2. Mortems can start soul collecting at 3 years and start losing health at 25 years. Most pass at 32-35 years old. Mortems become darker in color as they age and their ribs become brightly colored when they come of age. Mortems can breed once a every year and have a 10 month cool-down. Mortems mate for life but a male may have multiple mates. If this is the case the owner must provide at least 1 pup from the litter if it has more than 1 pup to the Gods and Goddesses to be trained and sold. Mortems can have 1-6 pups in every litter. Using certain items you can guarantee a certain amount of kits or certain genders. Mortem males can offer an unlimited amount of breedings but they can only give out breedings until they are 15 years whereas females can breed all their life starting at 2 years and 6 months.

    Traits :

      required - Horns, Ribs
      common- wings

      more to be added!

    How to adopt :

by Luff @ Fri Apr 20, 2018 8:21 pm [Reply]

Button Wolves are miniature wolves that can come in any colour combination imaginable. Each individual wolf will be available for adoption to a lucky new owner. Every new sheet of wolves will have a specific way to adopt - some may have a set C$ price, some may be free & raffled off to new owners. Keep an eye out for your chance to adopt!

Artist spots are available! Please PM me. Once you become an artist, you must remain active in creating Button Wolves & finding them homes, or you will be removed.

Each adopt is for the use of the new owner only.

Glorious history of poof wrote:Imagine if you will, the deepest darkest corner of the universe. Long ago, a small planet formerly known as urb sat in this very corner; the remainder of life in a galaxy on the brink of death. As the light dwindled from the galaxy's single dying star, so did the hope that anything would survive in this virgin wasteland. The people of urb mourned the loss of their only home, as complete darkness enveloped them. As a final effort on the part of the people of urb, with what meager power remained, they set their two brightest scientists aboard a rocket destined for the furthest reaches of space. This in the hopes that they would carry urb's legacy, memory and the future of their civilization to a new world outside of their galaxy. As the two scientists gazed wistfully back upon their now lifeless planet, they thought only of their family, friends and the tremendous responsibly entrusted to them. These thoughts did not last very long however. Probably due to the fact that they were fish people, or that the fact they were almost immediately discovered by a vagrant poofpoof, or the fact they were actually quite delicious. The poofpoof on the other hand was very satisfied.

Ick's are magical bean sacks that have come to life! They can't move very well or very far, that's where you come in! You can take your Ick with you in your pocket and play with it with your friends. They're sturdy little guys who love being thrown around. Ick's don't have genders but you can give them one if you'd like. They are always soft and squishy. Ick's reproduce via holding hands, just bring two of your favorite Icks together! Bam! More Icks! (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖)

Ick's babies are called nuggets (sometimes referred to as nugicks) and they will produce one rarely two at a time. Because they do not reproduce sexually this means there is no inbreeding. Watch out though when breeding! These little nuggets like to eat your food and school supplies to grow bigger.

Hi! I'm the mascot!
My name is Twitch.
But yeah, you can draw me and

Here at WBP, we
like to keep the horses busy. So, why not let
them have fun while getting exercise? We often
provide all kinds of essential workouts for both
a horse's mind and brain through competitions
and events. (And it also keeps them from getting
into trouble in their stables). Competitions and
Events also often bring big rewards, like customs
and special tack for your ponies.

Kiwilady @ Fri Dec 09, 2016 10:30 am

1. The ponies need to all be real colors (exception of events)
2. All of tess's rules count
3. Respect all the artists
4. Don't be sad if you don't win a pony try for another!
6. Artist must make 2 ponies before making them self a custom
7. chimeric ponies must be made rare and thus will need to be pmed to me before made or adopted out.

Vil'deerian Hounds [Will-deer-ee-an]

- genetically engineered and raised originally in the desert, they migrated to the mountains during a particularly harsh summer. The group stayed up there for a great deal of time, learning to climb tricky inclines, finding footholds where none were apparent. Food was tricky and scarce, but that was nothing they weren't used to. A few returned to their original homeland, but it is far more common to find these hounds up in the higher ranges of mountains

- button ears keep sand, hail, and strong winds from getting inside
- eyes accustomed to bright lights, lowered risk fr snow blindness
- muscular body/legs allow for jumping great gaps/heights, suited for rock climbing
- cuts scab over quickly
- hypermobile [double jointed] toes can easily grip cracks in surfaces
- long eyelashes for a bit more protection from sand and dirt
- large lungs accommodate larger oxygen intake
- weigh upwards of 250kg

- tend to walk and sit with head hung low
- when they run there's a slight hop to their step
- walking style sort of resembles prancing
- use nose and paws when digging

Customs : Open
- pm me or post here
- must be a natural pallet
- edits include:
full flopped ears
leg fluff
tail fluff
neck fluff
long tail
short tail
any item you'd like

Pillowtail nursery based on this drawing by angelhalodew

What is a Pillowtail?:
A Pillowtail is a Puma like creature with horns and an EXTREMELY fluffy tail, They are passionate creatures and very loving. If you don't love them they'll make you love them!! They also can go infreezng weather and are very nice too all animals, they even gain enough love and respect for a certain animal or creature they could befriend them as a pet or yet if their bond is so strong they can communicate with each other and they come in many shapes, colors and sizes! so keep and eye out for these lovable fluff balls as they are now released into our world to spread happiness and love!

Where are they from?:
Good question! These fluffy live inside mountains such as mount McKinley and or yet just live about anywhere where it's cold enough to have a cold crystallized cave to shelter from the utter freezing or the slight warmth, they must stay the perfect temperature to be kept happy and secure! But! These fluffy beauties have a goddess known as Wisteria Boriealis who every night sends out nice and tender loving dreams of the Pillowtails to all the kids of various places such as Alaska or Canada which are their main living source besides North and South pole. She even send dreams to the biggest of mammals to the tiniest of insects to show that Pillowtails are alive and not just no mythical creature from out beyond the most creative kids mind.

Do you have friends who have pillowtails?
Do you have a pillowtail and don't know what to do with it anymore?
Do you like fluffy baby animals?
If you said yes to any of these then you've come to the right place!
Here you can get an artist to draw your little baby snuggles
You need a friend who has a pillowtail and is willing to breed, or 2 pillowtails of your own. It doesn't matter their gender but they have to be grown up!
Dont already have a pillowtail? Don't worry, click the main topic. There we make our fresh pillowtails! They come out about each day!

Remember to read these rules before breeding!

1. Breeding will be open at any time, just post and a artist will claim.
2. You can breed legendary pillowtails but you must roll a even number to get a legendary edit. if you roll a 20 you get full legendary edits, if you roll 10 you get half legendary edits.
3. You can have more then 1 pup, if the artist is up for making up another .
4. You can have up to 4 pups but the artist must roll the number of the pups the will make like if they roll the number of two you get two pups but remember rule 3, the artist must be willing <3
5. Pillowtails is a closed species and you cannot make your own.
6. You must have proof of the other user approving your breeding ticket.
7. You may breed again after a one week cool down.
8. you may trade or gift your pup after 5 days of owning them.
9. you can grow your pillowtail after two weeks or keep them as a pup or PPS.
10. Artists roll for traits, the closer it is to 100 the more it will look like one of the parents, further away it will be more unique.
11. All pillowtails have 4 slots, unless stated otherwise like if the artist made it an old pillowtail.
12. have fun!

What with working a full-time job in real life, I'm struggling to keep adoptables coming through, so I'm hiring artists to give me a hand in keeping the draughts alive. If your interested and willing to help put some time into these horses, send me a PM with a few art examples and how often your usually online and I'll usually get back to you within a few hours at the latest.

Welcome to the Yard, this is the main adoption thread for Reamhar Draughts.
This is where you can check out all our different horses and maybe find the right one to take home!

Traits wrote:. Strong, but short legs.
. Long mane and tail, carried high.
. Flat, smooth face.
. Large "fat" bodies.
. Thick feathering over hooves.
. Blue or purple tongues.
. Highly intelligent.
. Between 12.0hh and 25.0hh.
What are Reamhar Draught Horses? wrote:Found in the rugged highlands of Schottland, Reamhar Draught horses are a surprisingly rare species and difficult to spot. The first Reamhar horse was found and tamed by a sheep farmer in the Shetland Islands, far north of the United Kingdom. It wasn't long (Eight years to be exact) before the farmer and his family moved on from sheep and started breeding, training and domesticating these strange equines.
In about fifteen years, Reamhar Draughts became popular on a global scale. It was impossible to go to any stables in the world and not find at least one of these strange horses. Their downfall is their breeding. Given their size, they struggle to breed naturally and this put a lot of breeders off. The domesticated Reamhars are a lot larger in build than their wild counterparts. Because of this, there is only one place in the world that breeds these animals. And that is the Reamhar Livery in the Shetland Islands of Schottland.

Rarity and Coat Colours wrote:As you've already seen, RDHs come in all manner of colours and patterns, but what's the most common to find? What's more valuable than others? This is a quick guide about what colours and markings are worth, from common to very rare.

Blue Roan
Iron Grey
Snowflake Appaloosa
Blanket Appaloosa

Liver Chestnut
Smokey Black
Leopard Appaloosa

Artist and Staff Rules wrote:. Natural coat colours and patterns only.
. When submitting an adoptable, give its code number
(example: Reamhar Draught Horse #015).
. All colours are fine for eyes.
. Adoptables want to be left open for ideally a week, but this is flexible.
. At least one design a week, no limits as long as the quality is good.
. No line edits at all.
. Add the harness once adopted.
. May own up to twenty adopted RDHs and five customs.
. PM me for any questions/concerns/rule breaking.
. All mares have a cooldown of seven days once they have been bred with.
Public Rules wrote:. Closed species, you may not make your own!

. Cannot be bred with other species or breeds.
. RDHs may not be traded, gifted or sold.
. Unwanted RDHs will be put back up for adoption within 3 days, PM me.

Made for RyderDragon, base by DragonOfEmber.

About wrote:Dragonyx are a mix of Dragon, Wolf, Angler Fish, and Angels. They live in the mountains, using their bioluminescent light to help them see in dark caves. Due to the lack of back legs, Dragonyx tails tend to float on their own, and are used when flying to change directions. They are social creatures, tending to stay in groups of up to 10 individuals. They are based off of different elements or crystals, and get certain powers and traits through the crystals. Each crystal has a certain personality that reflects on to the Dragonyx. Dragonyx hearts are actually crystals and are immortal until their crystal cracks. When this happens, they start to grow old and wither away until they are nothing but dust.

Species Information

The Bull Sharrier (Carchanis Leupas) is a scientifically engineered hybrid between a Bull Terrier and a Bull Shark. They are warm-blooded semi-aquatic animals, and possess both lungs and a set of gills. Our scientists are currently debating whether this classifies the Sharrier as a fish, a mammal, or even an amphibian. They are mostly cartilaginous, yet have a bone skeleton similar to that of a Bull Terrier. Their short, water-repelling oily fur; webbed paws; and muscular build makes them excellent swimmers. They are also capable of jumping to great heights, but are terrible climbers. Sharriers have sharp, serrated teeth that are positioned in rows, much like shark teeth. These teeth are continually shed and replaced. Sharriers have a high jaw strength, and can easily crunch through wooden furniture and other items. Their pupils are similar to those of cats; they constrict and dilate depending on how much light is in the room, as well as their emotions.

Sharriers have a heightened sense of smell, as well as excellent hearing. Sharriers also have electroreceptors located in their snout, enabling them to pick up on the electrical fields of living things. Of course, electronics put out similar fields, so you might not want to leave your phone or laptop in a location where your Sharrier can easily get to it. They may mistake it for food.

Sharriers can survive in both salt and freshwater, as well as on land.

Pups are about the size of a domestic cat.
Teens are labrador-sized.
Adults are comparable to a shetland pony.

Sharriers were originally created to function as fearsome guard animals. However, due to their natural temperament, we found that they were better suited to be household pets. Sharriers tend to be curious, extroverted, silly, energetic, loyal, affectionate, intelligent, . They typically enjoy music, baths, giving kisses, swimming, carrying things around, playing, chasing things, socialising, digging, being petted, belly rubs, and chewing on various items. They don’t usually like cold weather or being alone. Sharriers require lots of attention and exercise, and have a constant need for stimulation. If a Sharrier is neglected, not properly exercised, or not mentally stimulated, it could exhibit destructive behavior. The most common form of said behavior is excessive chewing.

Despite their typically placid temperament, some Sharriers can be rather aggressive, particularly if they had a traumatising past. When exhibiting aggressive behavior, Sharriers tend to arch their backs like cats; wave their tails in slow, threatening motions; as well as bare their teeth and emit a low growl. They may get protective around food, or become excited upon smelling blood.

Sharriers have intricate social lives. They prefer to live in a pack and have a social hierarchy typical to that of wolves. The largest and most intimidating Sharrier is often in charge, while the smaller and more submissive Sharriers are ranked towards the bottom.
Sharriers are generally very talkative; making sounds similar to those a canine would. They don’t bark, however they do emit sounds such as whines, growls, huffs, yips, and grunts. They also pant when overheated or in pain. Body language plays a large role in their communication, often using many of the same cues that dogs do.

A Sharrier will eat almost anything: sticks, dirty socks, your favourite pair of shoes, or even part of your car tire. Sharriers need a lot of salt in their diet to stay healthy, along with proteins and lipids. The healthiest thing to feed them would be a salty mixture of fish, squid, kelp, and chicken. They possess a surprising fondness for peanut butter, sushi, leather items, and bananas.

Sharriers often have an attraction to shiny things, such as jewellery, loose change, silverware, or even your cell phone. They may hoard these objects and make a game of hiding them around your house.

WitchHazel @ Sat Mar 24, 2018 3:06 pm

Each Sharrier must have two or more edits on one category, or one in that category and one in a higher category to be considered that particular rarity - unless they have no edits, then they count as common.

No edits, Hair tufts, Fangs, Pupil edits, Claw edits, Small scars, Eyelashes, Natural Colours (any colour that appears naturally on a dog or shark, including oceanic colours like blue and green)

Tooth shape edits, Different shark species, Bright colours, Short hair, Weight changes, Heterochromia, Height changes, Body length changes, Ear edits, Tongue shape edits, Large scars, Missing limbs or eyes, Coloured sclera, Fins on other parts of the body (legs, head, etc), Scales

Small wings, Long hair, Extra fluff, Multiple eyes, Multiple limbs (not heads), Muzzle shape edits, Nose edits, Eye shape edits, Back manes, Short tail, Glowing eyes, Lion manes, Feathers, NGU (Never Grow Up), Spines, Coloured bodily fluids, Bioluminescence, Bionic body parts, Skeletal body parts, No fins

welcome to the komohæart nursery! this cute little part of the komo's territory is where komohaert's
are gifted their children. myths surround how komos receive their children, but what we can tell you is
that they are precious! stay a little; i'm sure you'll make some friends.

      • komohært's are able to be any gender or sexuality. up to three komo's are allowed to breed! proof will be required from every owner

      • komohært's are able to breed up to three times. they do not breed for life; they are able to breed with any gender and with three partners at once every breeding.

      • owners must wait three weeks before breeding a komohært. it could be a different komo, or the same, but there needs to be at least 3 weeks since the last breeding for them to have another.

      • nursery artists will open slots whenever they feel like they wish to. komohært's have a unique way of accepting breeding slots. you are able to pm a nursery artist for them to accept your ticket, but that will need to be paid for. it is possible there can be an item that allows you to purchase these instead, but there is not one currently. sometimes nursery artists have the chance to take the breeding for free, but this is a case by case basis. artists are allowed to say which designs/edits they wish to accept, and can expect payment for things higher. most slot openings, however, will be announced on this thread and are free! ( any questions, please pm an admin )

      • do not guilt trip artists into accepting your ticket. they have the right to decline your ticket for any reason. do not threaten them or anything along those lines.

      • once you have received a sprout, you must wait a month to grow them. once it is grown, there is no waiting period for them to breed.

      • there should be at LEAST one mythical komo adopted out of mythical batches to distribute mythical traits among the kommunity

      • for every komo involved, there will a offspring guaranteed! for breedings with two komos, the rolling will go 75% chance for two offsprings, 20% chance for three offsprings, and 5% for four offsprings. for three komo breedings, there is a 95% chance for three offsprings, and 5% for four offsprings.

      • exclusive edits have a 5/10 chance of passing per kid, while mythical edits have a 2/10 chance regardless of how many parents have the edit. non-exclusive and non-mythical traits are in the hands of the artist - they have complete artistic liberty with them; as long as the trait is on at least one of the parents, it can show up on the kids.

      • any exclusive+ rolls have to be done by a full staff member that is not involved in the breeding ( nor the artist nor the owner of a parent ); either on a livestream or with screenshot proof

      • if your komo is 2nd or 3rd gen, feel free to add their relatives ( parents, grandparents, siblings, ect ) to the form in the "other" section! if for example your komo doesnt have spots, but it lies in the family, the artist may decide to add some!

      • in the "special requests" part of the form, you may requests certain traits that could appear in the kiddos to be added ( eg. a parents' hair style, a specific marking, at least one kid inherits the plant growth, ect. ), however this does not guarantee it will be added! it is simply Inspiration for the artist! <3

The Anglo-Arabian is a cross between a Thoroughbred and Arabian which is now classified as its own breed. These powerful, gaited, sport horses stand at about 15.2-16.3hh. The Anglo-Arab comes in a variety of colors like bay, chestnut, and gray. Anglo-Arabians come in common base coat colors and carry a variety of paint, appaloosa, perlino, etc colors/patterns. Chimerics, brindles, and mutations are present in the breed but are very rare. All eye colors are accepted, blue and brown being the most common. Anglo-Arabs can exceed in a good amount of disciplines and they are great for beginners.

Welcome to the small land if Udrea, where decedents of spirits of prosperity roam.
These roleplay adopts are meant to be developed and involved! Create a starter, and chose their path from forming their own wild herd, to becoming a show pet. There are all sorts of paths to explore!

    Mainstay⊕Medic @ Thu Apr 05, 2018 2:13 pm

    [-Insert header image when complete-]

Where is this? What are Kirin?

"We welcome you to the land of Malin. We're a small area in Northern Ireland. Mostly it's a lot of farmland from here on out. beyond that, we're surrounded by forest on three sides. Here we're resident to the deer dragons, Kirin. The Kirin are descendants of the Qilin, known in eastern asian culture, those deities look similar to their modern day descendants, and were thought to appear with the arrival or passing of a ruler. These ones however, are much smaller than what they used to be, and have migrated westward it seems.
They're easy to domesticate, but they need space, and a herd to be comfortable. That doesn't stop people from taking them to live in urban areas however, and the Pygmies have become popular to become housepets. Granted, there are still a lot of wild herds out there. It's unlikely we'll ever find out their numbers anytime soon either.
I assume you're too here for a Kirin?"

Your First Kirin, and it's Fate

First things first, and that's finding your first Kirin. The first one is always the most important, and cannot be changed later, so chose wisely!
After picking up your first Kirin it's time to decide it's path. Will it remain a Wild Roaming Kirin, left to survive on it's own? A Wild Roaming Kirin will face new challenges, moving on from it's own herd to mature and create it's own.
Maybe your Kirin will be taken to become an Urban Pet. A kirin taken for a pet will be looked after by a human or other intelligent being, in a city or town. Are they a pet? a service animal? only time can tell.

    Still more background info?

This story takes place here on earth. Kirin are the descendants of the mythical Qilin, and have adapted to the modern day world, mostly by downsizing. They've started migrating west and appear mostly around the Northern Ireland area. There have been pop up ranches and sanctuaries for people domesticating and breeding these creatures, although there are still many many more roaming the area.
Kirin prefer to live in denser areas, preferring forests to open plains any day. They're omnivores, and both can and will hunt smaller animals but have a preference for plant matter and fruits.

With your first kirin, you get to write their story, develop them and their relationships with others. You get to chose their fate, what paths they take in life, and where it can take them.

What paths can i take? I'm still confused?

"Where to Start & Other Info"<----Here you can find a more fleshed out guide to Kirin! What paths you can take, more on anatomy, types of Kirin and more!
If you still have questions, by all means PM me!

    Mainstay⊕Medic @ Thu Apr 05, 2018 2:14 pm

◼Don't claim a Kirin as yours if you don't own it
◼You're not allowed to edit your Kirin
◼Please don't sell for offsite currency. They are a CLOSED Species
◼They may be sold for ONSITE currency. staff must know of any changes.
◼You may not create your own outside of your starter unless given permission by owner

◼Go ahead and use as a character, or fursona, or whatever. SO long as credit is given to original creator(me)
◼You can have both Wild and Pet Kirin, but they cannot interact.
◼Kirin can be transferred between herds or owners depending on their path. it must be agreed upon by both parties and staff must know of any changes.

◼Let staff know if you no longer want your Kirin. they will be put up for readoption
◼Keep an eye on your level! You're not allowed to adopt more than your level allows!
◼You must keep up on your thread. If your thread is not kept up on, you will get 3 warnings before all your Kirin will be surrendered. You have another 3 strikes to start over and if you continue to not keep up, you will be banned from the species entirely
◼Art and roleplays are encouraged! just follow the rules for the ARPG
◼You must complete the current level task to level up!

Hello, and welcome to Parvus Adopts.
    Will you be adopting today?

    Version 1
Version 1 kinda sank, so I'm trying this again :D

    What is a Parvus Lynx?

'Parvus' is the Latin word for small, which is exactly what these guys are.

The average Parvus weighs between 3-4kg (6-9 Pounds), and are around 17 cm in height (7 Inches).
Originally created in England in the 1940s, they are a mixture of Lynx, Deer and Munchkin Cat. As such, they have short, stumpy legs, antlers and a lynx like face and head.

Cross-breeding has also led to a variety in markings, as well as other modifications. For example, the original Parvus Lynx's had no tails. However, after extensive breeding with longer tailed cats, this type has almost died out.

    Gender Differences
While Parvus Lynxes can be any sexuality, they are still born with either male or female characteristics.

The main difference is their antler shape.

Males have long antlers, used to attract a mate, while females have shorter, more stubby horns.

Cubs are born with stubs, and their horns grow as they age, growing to full size around their second year.

    Rarity Guide
Very Common: No Modifications Present, two colour fur limit, natural eye colour.

Common: No Modifications Present, three colour fur limit, natural or unnatural eye colour.

Uncommon: One Modification such as tail edits or items, three colour fur limit, natural or unnatural eye colour.

Rare: Two modifications such as tail edits or items, four colour fur limit, natural or unnatural eye colour.

Very Rare: Any amount of modifications, full six fur colour limit (possibly more), natural or unnatural eye colour, possibly with Heterochromia.

Please be respectful to everyone here, if you are found being rude or disrespectful it may result in a ban. This applies to all staff as well.

Do not beg for an adopt or custom. You will get you chance to own one eventually, so please don't harass the staff for them.

Please could you let me know if you change your usename. It'll make everything a lot easier. Thank you.

    Owning and Adopting
You may own as many cats as you want.

Please use the forms the artist provides to gain a cat, anything else will be ignored.

Contrary to the title of this section, Parvus Lynxes may not be sold. As this is a free adoption, it would be unfair for you to sell your adopt when it was given to you for nothing.

If you wish to disown your Parvus, please contact me and your cat will be put up for adption. You will then be able to adopt another cat, but only after a 5 day cool down.

    Staff Rules
    Please be kind to others.

Please notify me if you plan on making any very rare designs. This will help me keep the balance, we can't have to many very rares, or they'd loose value.

Artists can create 2 custom Parvus' for themselves, only 2.

Staff can enter in Parvus' competitions if they want, however no favouritism please!

Please follow the rules of the rarity guide. If you want to make something outside these rules, let me know.
Permanent artists must make at least 2 adopts a week, and guest artists at least 1 a week.

    🌿Plant Avians🌿
by Heidy @ Sat Apr 14, 2018 10:21 am [Reply]

You decided to go to your local plant store, and find this interesting new addition to one of their shelves..a plant that's shaped like a bird!? Intrigued, you decide to purchase this plant. The cashier hands you a small manual, saying you'll need it if you'll want this unusual plant. You quickly walk home and place your new addition to your shelf of plants, and quickly open your manual..

🌱The official guide to plant avians🌱

If you have this manual, then that must mean you have picked up a plant avian from a plant store. Congratulations to being a new owner! First, you might be wondering; what in the world are plant avians? Plant avians are a new plant species that have been discovered very recently, but it is unknown about where exactly they came from or how they came to be. They're plants, but in the shape of various kinds of birds. After much studying, we have determined they are safe for humans to keep and created this manual to help you take care of your plant avian properly.

*Like all plants, plant avians feed off of a lot of water and need plenty of sunlight. It is not recommended to feed them processed foods or bird seed. They will also need lots of love and attention like normal pets.

*Plant avians are not covered in feathers, but in petals. Their petals are soft and gentle, very easy to pluck off like a normal flower's petal. Do not pluck a plant avian's petal(s) unless your goal is to harm it.

*Unlike most other plants, plant avians are more lively. If being fed water and sunlight properly, your plant avian will be very chirpy and often sing in the morning. You could even teach them how to whistle a tune!

*Are you usually busy during the day? Then we recommend getting a second plant avian. Like birds, plant avians are very social and can't stand being lonely! As soon as you introduce two plant avians to each other, they'll start chirping a conversation all day long!

*Unlike birds, plant avians do not have legs. It is not recommended that you remove it from it's pot/garden as they won't be able to walk around. They also are not able to fly, either.

*Plant avians are genderless, but you may give it preferred pronouns if you'd like.

*Every plant avian is unique. Some may be tall, some may be short, etc.! Every plant avian could be a different bird species and different plant species.

*As all plants, your plant avian will eventually wilt and die. If taken care of properly, they can last at least two years. A few days before it's time to go, your plant avian will "lay" one seed which will be hidden somewhere in the dirt under the plant avian.
