I started up this website in early 2008 with just a little HTML knowledge and digital drawing skills to get things started. Nick (my brother) soon joined the site and his coding skills gave us the trading and adoption system, along with many other upgrades. A lot of the pets we use today are still based on my original lineart drawings from '08 and '09, but we have added more variety with our ever-growing artist team :)

I'm the software developer, database architect, and server administrator behind Chicken Smoothie. I'm the one who builds the stuff that powers our website and the forum. I answer our support email address and handle payments and site privacy. I also maintain our cheating detection system to keep the game fair for everybody. Occasionally I draw some pets too :).

I joined CS at a very early stage and soon became a Global Moderator. I worked my way up to be an Admin Assistant until I lastly joined Tess and Nick in their ranks. I am mostly in charge of solving trade disputes but I still fulfill tasks assigned to my former titles sometimes. I also do work behind the scenes and occasionally you will find some pets or items designed by me.

I joined the Admin team in 2019, and these days, most of my work happens behind the scenes. I collaborate closely with our talented artists to plan pets and items for events and monthly adopts. On the backend, I handle tagging and preparing everything for release, so if you ever spot a typo in an item name... that one’s probably on me, feel free to PM me about it! I also assist with various other tasks to help keep things organized and running smoothly.

Hey, I'm Aquila (she/her) and I live in the UK. I'm a cat owner, book reader and frequent nap taker. I also enjoy baking sweet treats (the more chocolatey, the better) and gaming on my Nintendo Switch.

I am a creative at heart and an animal lover, just as many of my fellow Smoothians are. I currently have an ancient soul-stealing witch (elderly cat), chaos tornado (bernadoodle puppy), and tank full of pre-sushi (fish of various ages) but my history of pets is as vast and varied as the arts and crafts I've dabbled in!
For many years I worked in the equine industry both in training and husbandry. A few years ago I transitioned into working in GIS. As much I love making maps, my heart still lies with the horses so I still help out at my old barn for fun. If I'm not online, I'm either sleeping or petting ponies!

Heyo, I'm Trompy! Back in 2009, child-me would never have believed that I would be listed as a staff member for my favorite website. I became an artist in 2022 and I consider this my "night job" as I spend most of my free time creating content for you all. I am extremely passionate about being an artist here and I hope you enjoy what I make!

My day job consists of being a Behavioral Therapist for an autism center. I teach neurodivergent children various coping skills, communication skills, and life skills. As an AuDHD individual myself, I was denied the help I dearly needed due to being labeled as "high-functioning." I work hard so that my clients don't have to suffer through life like I have. My purpose lies with these kids; using my lived experiences to best support my clients and hopefully see them go off to live full, happy, successful lives.

Outside of work, you'll often find me pocketing stray rocks, playing Stardew Valley, or napping with my 2yo Whippet pupper, Tarot <3
