Hello! I'm Zaelyna, and here is my entry for the cake contest. This cake has three tiers and is made of vanilla cake. The frosting that is holding it together is butter cream. I covered it with homemade marshmallow fondant, and I coloured sugar paste with edible markers to decorate. My mother helped me with the cake with fondant and the icing. It was quite the adventure for both of us, as we both have the same experience with decorating cakes: none at all. The way I tried to incorporate was by tying in some CS colours (The green and purple) and by putting some well know pets on. The lion on top is the King of Spades lion, the dogs are (in order): Pink Sorbet, '09 St. Patrick's Day Dog, Blue Toxic, '08 Pink Cake Dog. Thanks for your time, and I hope you enjoy the cake.
