(sorry if this was sent twice...I just wasn't sure if it worked the first time since I don't see anything that I entered before.) My cake is completely hand made by myself. It is a vanilla "sprinkle" cake covered in fondant and decorated in normal frosting. The decorations on my cake are made from regular decorating frosting, where as the dog's and bird are made of fondant and hand "painted" with food colouring. The theme of my cake is in the style of CS's site. I created green leaves and purple flowers from the icing and added in an Avian and Sunny as well as Totoro made of fondant on the front as well. As stated before Avian, Sunny and Totoro are hand painted with food colouring. All decorations are fully editable and we're quite fun to make I might add. I chose this theme because I thought, what better way to celebrate CS than the images that represent the site? I wanted to add some CS pets as well but I kind of ran out of room lol. But needless to say I had a lot of fun and think it turned out fairly well. I look forward to seeing all the lovely entries. And of course Happy Birthday CS! So glad to see this site doing so well it's grown so much in such little time and it's wonderful! Good up the good work everyone! And I look forward to seeing more wonderful work from all the staff in the following years.
