I love the idea, but I think you could improve the lightning. Lightning isn't a pure yellow, it's more white and glow-ish. Also thinner, and spreading out more. I recommend looking on Google images, just search lightning. Also, in reality lightning has a very bright contrast to the dark clouds, maybe you could shade the seal a bit to make the back look illuminated. Same with the water in front. This picture has real potential, though! A feature, maybe! The eyes are great, I can never manage the shine XD.

Thank you very much for your kind comment, it's really helped. What about this? I'm still not happy with the size of his eyes and the 'glisten' on him, but oh well
