Clockwork is a bit on the quiet side; he finds it hard to find words that express what he means, so oftentimes says things that don't make sense. This has earned him quite a bit of mockery, to the point where he's become afraid of talking and usually avoids it whenever possible. When he does speak it's in a very slow, methodical manner, and it's not uncommon for him to stop mid-sentence for a couple minutes as he struggles to find the correct phrases.
Outside of conversation Clockwork is shy in general, avoiding people and preferring to spend time alone listening to classical music. Whenever he finds himself in large groups he'll often freak out, as big crowds make him feel claustrophobic. This can lead to him hyperventilating, or even to a full out panic attack that ends with him either making a mad dash from the room or simply passing out.
Relationship wise, Clockwork needs a partner who'd be patient with him; someone who doesn't mind listening to him struggle through sentences, and who can recognize when Clockwork's anxieties start to kick in.
