I wanted to play with you. I howled, cried and whimpered. I showed off, ran till I was puffed and did everything to please you. So when I found I could get outside the yard I thought we'd play then. So I hid, really well. Walked a long way. And I waited...but you never came. I kept telling myself you'll find me and laugh and cuddle me. It was cold and late and all I had for light was a dim pole in the street. Still no you. I was always loyal to you..So why didn't you come??

This is a picture made for all the dogs lost in my home town. I saw two dogs today, no collar or leash, owner to be found. And it was sad, such beautiful animals left alone. I hope they are ok now because sadly when I went to get them they were gone.

Some owners train their dogs so they can walk themselves, or they are strays. I agree that dogs are very, very, VERY beautiful animals. In foreign countries, I try to play with the stray dogs to make them feel better. I have a worry like a mother. My mum tells me to leave, and I have the same question to protest 'Will he/she be alright out here?' and my mum replies with the same answer every time 'Don't worry. They are perfectly fine.'
We'll just leave with the same statement everytime. 'Leave them to take care of themselves, they're perfectly happy and healthy.'

I know dogs are smart but for dogs like the puppy I saw today, he was so skinny and small with no one around to help it, you dont know if it would die without help or get hurt or hit by cars. I wanted to go back and pick it up but my sister wouldnt let me. The second one even being around 30 outside i walked to make sure it was ok and no matter what until i see it in the pound website or hear it was found I will worry for them. I am just so upset people cant look after them. Also it is against laws for a dog to be without a leash on walkways near busy roads, shopping centers ect other than parks.
It just is sad and I feel every need to care for them, ask family I take in strays alot to find the homes they belong or get them re-homed with the local pound.
I love dogs and have one of my own I could never imagine leaving or letting get hurt.

I love dogs possibly even more, I also have three of my own.
What you should do is call Dog's Trust or the RSPCA. Don't go and help it, take out your phone and call the sevices.
Looking and walking on is just as bad as abusing them.

The bad thing about that is the animal control costs the person who calls them money to have them picked up which I dont have so otherwise I have to leave them, If I cant take it I ask people around if they know who's it is or can call and pay for it. Otherwise I take it home untill I can take it to the pound to locate the owner or take it straight there and thankfully on occations they have collars and are relieved to find their dog ok.
Its the best way for me to help when I can.

You make it sound easy. My perents wont let me earn it and I have no job, no offense but it seems your attacking me for trying to help best I can.

Dogs are beautiful creatures. ALL animals are beautiful creatures. They are to be loved and valued, but sadly life is cruel. People can be cruel. If the dogs were dirty, chances are they're strays. If they were clean, chances are that their owner just abandoned them or their owner didn't bother putting on the collars. Either way, no pets should be running around with no collar and or leash. If they are, the owner should be there.
