History: he was taken from his mother at an early age, and sold at a puppy mill. The person who bought him wanted to use him for dog fights. He was forced to run on treadmills for hours on end, and fight with other dogs for food. he was only 12 months old at the time. When he was a bit older, the owner decided it was time for him to fight. He whipped him and beat him because the poor dog didn't want to get into the crate. Suddenly he came free of the collar and leash and ran and ran and ran as fast as his legs could carry him away from that horrid place. He was captured by a non-kill animal shelter, but no one wanted him. He stayed there until he was 3 1/2 years old.
