when you do the blending this do different layers so you dont have to go over and do it again and use the first layer for sketching then go over and erase everything on the first layer so it can be reused.

Second stage well here is what i usually do when i make art work1:
I write down topics
I decide what I want to do. I go on my laptop. I do some research and look at other linearts (I like manga personally.) I try to in corperate that picture into my design.

OR I know what I want and dont use line art....

I sketch it out on my paint programs.
I retrace it with black (I always use red to sketch)
I find colors make another layer and put it under the one with the body frame
I use the colors do the design. ect then eyes
