How could I resist? Not very good, I know, but I'm a huge fan of the books, so I felt I had to have a go at drawing Hiccup!
Well, no one else will, so I'm trying to encourage more fanart out of other fans. Please comment!

And I was doing other stuff at the same time, so I didn't take that long, honest. I also spent a while trying to draw Toothless around his shoulders, but it didn't work out.

Evening walks among the orchard,
She greets the dancing dusk,
A spirit of the air;
A lady, if you must,
Her dress a robe of twilight,
Her eyes awash with sun.
She places gems of water,
Along the grass, among
The apples fallen, withered
By her master, Autumn Sire,
Coloured in the lilac glow
Of Winter’s sharp satire.
