Earlier today at school, while I was typing out my Research project, I got sidetracked thinking about poems. So, instead of typing out my project, I started writing a poem. It was about how Jack Frost falls in love. And then, when I got home I thought, I'm going to write a story about it! I was about to write when I questioned the name Jack. Since Jack Frost was a teen in my book, I changed it to Jake. Jake starts to fall in love with a new girl in school, Charlie. Since Jake is immortal, he can't bear to fall in love with a girl, but he falls in love with Charlie anyway. He has two choices, give up his mortality only to die every summer and spring, but come back to life in fall and winter. Or, make her a cold, unfeeling, merciless, immortal girl. For many months he ignores the choices, spending time with his dream girl, until one fateful night. Charlie gets into a car crash, nearly killing her. Now he has to decide, turn his dream girl into a cold angel, or give up his glory to die for and with her. What will he pick?
