Name:
Fleet
Age:
10 years
Reason for adopting:
I've been stalking the Oceancat thread for a while. I've been wanting to adopt one, but none of them have really clicked for me yet. I actually saw this male on the recent Oekaki thing on the forum. Something buzzed for me. I love the different shades of deep blue. It reminds me of the Gulf Of Mexico on a warm, breezy Florida day. The green makes me think of the islands you can find in the ocean near Clearwater. It's like, my homeland in a cat. I was in love instantly.
Fleet, if I win him, would become my only Oceancat. I'd be doing art of him left and right. If you ever plan on starting an Oceancat roleplay, I'd be all over it. I think it would be interesting to see him in a roleplay. Not only would I use him in a roleplay if it ever happens, I'd be writing short stories about his life as an Oceancat. I've got a couple ideas already.
Short summary of it's past:
Unlike most people seems to enjoy, Fleet's history does not contain any mary-sue-ish tragedy. Fleet was his parents' firstborn cub. He was an only child until he turned one. His parents had a second litter of two girls, whom Fleet found annoying and filled with cooties. Eventually, Fleet's wing membrane grew in and he found swimming was so much easier. The only thing he did was swim with his sisters, who were envious of his wing membranes. He found joy in taunting his sisters...until their wing membranes came in. When Fleet turned five, he left his family's den and found his own, settling down immediately. He made friends with several other Oceancats. He's been laying low recently, just relaxing and having a great time.
Other:
I'll go draw some art of him now. I haven't done a feline in a while...so wish me luck.
