YUSH! The very first albino Oceancat is here! As you see, She's not completely white, but rather cream-colored. You might find that color on the belly of some brown, yellow, orange or red ones at times. But full-body like this is very rare, and not genetic transferable(meaning, the likeliness of this girl right here to have white little cubs is just as small as if she was any other color. Even if mated to another albino)

She is an absolutely gorgeous Oceancat, and I would be honored to own her. If I win her she will have a home with all my other characters, and I will make or buy many art pieces of her. I might even use her in a story I am planning.
Short summary of it's past:
Well, when she was younger she was always the odd one out. Most other Oceancats had darker fur colors, and no-one she knew had a cream coat like hers. She never felt welcome because of this. Even in her family she was picked on because of her coat. Finally she left and travelled. After a year or two of not belonging in the places she visited, she came across a male that had an albino coat like hers. They were both shocked to see each other, both having thought they were alone. Soon they fell in love and life felt perfect... Until the day.
That day began as normal. The couple did ordinary things. Then suddenly another Oceancat came up to Copper. He said that he needed to see Falfir, her love. Copper allowed the other Oceancat to. She left thinking all was fine. When she came back, Falfir was dead, and no one else was seen. With tears in her eyes, Copper left in mourning, and she has been traveling since.

Name: Neilikka (Finnish for pink)
Age: just grown out of kit hood
Reason for adopting(What you will use it for): well, I am always looking for a cute new species to own, and this girl pulled on my heart strings. Also, her eyes are lovely. I know they are pink because she is albino, but they are just STUNNING. Also, I have a character thread which I am currently working on. I am going to make some art with all of my charries in it and it will be in incomplete without her.
Short summary of it's past: Please keep it as short as you can, it rather like to be less than ten lines: Well, she was born into family of five: including her parents, her smooth pelted brown sister, and her bright red brother, an oddity like herself. She and her red brother were the odd ones out. They spent a lot of time together, playing, chasing sea birds just above the surface, and teaching themselves to fish. Their parents didn't bother with them much, for they were too busy teaching the "normal kit". However, Neilikka grew into a strong female. She didn't stay in her family, but moved off to find somewhere she could be accepted into. She is currently still looking. I cut that close...

Reason for adopting: i love the oceancats, i have been stalking these, i just decided to have a last shot at this girlie. <3 i will be using her for a charachter, a much used charachter, too <->
Short summary of it's past:

seluna as a kit:
loved to splash on the island with her mother. she was a very attached child, and when she left, she was so sad that she could'nt bear it.

seluna's young years:
when seluna was seven months old, she was off fishing. by the time she had come back to her mother, she was gone. her mother was gone. to this day, seluna still does not know what happened to her mother.

seluna after her mother left:
seluna dropped the "se" in her name, and decided to be called luna. she was a very lonely cat, and she did not interact with others much. she stayed on the island and searched for her mother. at one year and a half, she gave up. she was an orphan from now on.

"luna" after her first year alone:luna began to wonder what she should do in the remainder of her life on this island. she was thinking about leaving the island to the nearest island to possibly find some more cats. she was beginning to loose herself in thoughts of the world beyond her little group of islands.

"luna" in the past six months:
luna is now living on a new island,a smaller one, and she hopes to soon move away and find another cat. she has only ever met her mother, she is the only other cat she had ever met. she hopes to grow up some day and have a kit.

Other: i was hoping that luna could have a creature friend, maybe like a semi-aquatic mouse with wings similar to theirs?

Reason for adopting (What you will use it for):
During the last days I've been browsing this forum, and today this beauty caught my eye. I've never heard of the species before, but now that I've read the info thread, I find it very interesting. They're really pretty. :]
Out of all Oceancats that have been created so far, I like her best. I like characters that are special, different, and she is for sure.
I could now say what a big thread of characters I have and how often i roleplay - I won't, I'll be honest. I don't really have many characters as of now, and thus for, no special thread yet, however I guess that is something that can be changed. This pretty girl could be one step.
I'm also not much into RP-ing (yet), I prefer to just enjoy my characters and discover their personalities, draw them, and write stories about them. That's what I would most likely do with this beauty, too. Though, who knows. If I find an RP of my like, I might aswell join it with her. Maybe she'd also find a mate, start a family, you newer know. All I know is that I'd take great care of her.

Elarinya was the first ever known albino Oceancat to be born. Nobody knew why she was like this, many said it's a miracle. She and her brother, who had a brown colored coat, grew up in the territory of their parents, nearby a river in a little forest. Her childhood was really happy, she was different and knew it, but it was never a problem for her. Also, her brother was always there to protect her. Her happy life changed drastically when she was about 2 years old. Elarinya was fishing at the river like she often did, this time her brother wasn't nearby. Lurking on the waterside, her beautiful eyes were caught by a really big fish. Right when she wanted to leap and catch it, a net was thrown at her. It came out of nowhere, fell down onto her body. She tried everything to escape it, but she was caught. It turned out the net had been thrown by two men, who now walked up to her. They pulled Elarinya into a small wooden box and brought her to a circus. There she was thrown into a small cage with nothing but some hay in it. At that point she didn't know it was gonna be her home for almost one year. The humans treated her bad. They would feed her trash instead of fresh fish, try to make her do stunts, beat her with sticks, sometimes for no reason. Every evening Elarinya was brought into the arena - all the people and noises horribly scared her. The worst thing by far was that her owners would only let her swim once a week - if you can call it swim - in a small inflatable pool, chained, for 15 minutes at most. She was about to lose herself, when she unexpectedly found a kind human friend who brought her out her misery and secretly helped her escape. Since then she has been traveling around, avoiding humans, searching for peace. Her soul needs to recover.

Other:
Her name is elvish, it means morningstar. I thought it'd fit her really well because she is bright and shiney. And I just like the sound of it. :]
I hope it's okay that the story part is a bit longer than 10 lines, I tried it to keep it as short as possible. I tend to write little novels once I start writing, so so so many ideas. xD
