why are hands so hard to draw? :c any tips so i can get better?

The side view hand seems like the fingers shouldn't be so long and the hand part should be alittle bit bigger. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say. I do better showing then saying

If you draw "skeletons" of hands you should be able to draw them much better :3
