Here is some tips, try tilting the eye slightly and place it farther back, if your having problems drawing a certain part keep drawing it over and over on a scrap piece of paper. Really the only way to get better is practice, and don't bash your own art. Iv'e had plenty of drawings that didn't pan out.*cough cough like last night* You might think it looks terrible but just remember it takes awhile to get good.
