Ok so this is my "for now" entry, because I'm really tempted to pull him and keep him because I absolutely adore how he came out.
Name
Ok, I haven't come up with a name yet. Sad face.
Breed
100% Labrador Retriever. His mother was a black lab, his father a chocolate lab, both purebred.

26 inches, slightly taller than the average lab.

.Backpack: He always carries this when he goes hiking, whether it's with or without his owner/handler. In it he carries some treats and little rations of food he's stolen from the pantry, just in case he gets lost.
.Bandana: He always wears this in lieu of his pendant when he's competing. It gives him a little bit of flair and sometimes it gives him an edge, or so he thinks.
.Pendant: His pendant was his first owner's before she passed away, and he wears it every day except when he's competing. It's a silver circular pendant 1.5" in diameter, engraved into it is a lightning bolt. 4 gemstones (real ones, not fake or imitation) are placed in the cardinal directions to represent the elements. To the north is water, and an American Topaz represents it. To the east, a small Ruby takes fire's throne. To the west, a small emerald holds earth's resting place, and to the south a Tourmaline makes wind's presence known. A Tourmaline was used instead of a Diamond as there were no Diamonds in stock when his old owner ordered the custom.

His companion is a blue-blood giant Madagascar day gecko that he simply calls "Day".
