I've been trying so hard to finish this before halloween, but it's just not going to happen. Especially since I am moving tomorrow and I don't have everything packed right now, even after packing alll daay for three days OTL. Tired person is tired. Er... If any of you recieved my trick or treat, you know the story here bellow that i made up~ This is a peice of art I am making for it. And I am determined to make it very pretty, background and all!

{Story~}

It’s time again for Halloween. All around Chicken Smoothie spooky tales are told and thrilling frights are given and shared. There are many stories to be told to rise goose bumps, of ghosts and ghouls and werewolves and vampires. But one particular tale happens to be a favorite of all. The Tale of The Black Knight.

It is rumored that a castle once stood beyond where the fair grounds are held each year, nestled deep in the forest. No one has ever found it, and those who have never returned to tell of it’s existence. This castle was home to the king and queen, to which a loyal knight swore his oath to, to live by his sword and protect them and their castle. He has fur of black from what is seen under his dark armor, a red mane spilling from his helmet.

This knight fell in love with the fair princess, who’s taste for sweets was nothing to compare. She had the most silky blue hair and gorgeous white fur that was decorated in light blue elegant designs. Beyond his duties to the kingdom, he secretly vowed himself to serve his love. Her heart, however, was blind to his lover. Constantly, he came to her aid, and did simple kind favors any chance he had.

His attempts became known to the servants, their hush perhaps given to the situation that was about to give weigh, for they knew the princess did not love he. One day the king assigned him a dangerous task, to slay the dragon of Gerundan Mountain. He was to set off the next day to slay the dragon and bring back it’s heart as proof of it’s death. He packed that night and rested well, then rode off through the trees.

The mountain was huge, towered over the sky, the pathways twisted and winded up to where the dragon lie. A week it took to come to the cave, where monstrous sounds bellowed and swayed. He stood strong with his sword in hand as the beast coiled from his dark home, spouting fire from his nostrils and his monstrous paws striking the ground and shaking the entire mountain to the very core.

The knight score wound after wound as he battled the magnificent and terrifying beast, when his time was near, he thrust his blade up through it’s belly and it fell so hard that the mountain cracked and crumbled and fell along with it. The knight rode fast down the breaking trail, the hooves of his sleek horse thundering across the mountain. By dusk, the mountain was gone and so was the dragon, buried deep under the thick rubble. The knight dug as far as the rocks would allow, and there was no sight of any piece of the scaled creature.

He arrives back home by the morrow, worn and tired, and without his trophy. The king is distraught, for more reasons than one. For his knight had failed him and his daughter had run away. The knight was low in spirits, having perhaps done the greatest deed, yet it was scorned off as magician’s work, as both the mountain and dragon were gone. They would seek no other explanation. But his worries were on his love, so he seeks her personal servant, only to find out that she had left to go see her true love. He was in anguish, having lost everything. The faith of his rulers, his love, and his honor…

He leaves in a hurry, full of spite, rearing his horse off into the woods to find his love. He had found her quite quickly, but so did the guards. The black knight was kneeled beside her body, his sword and he covered in crimson. The guards captured him and dragged him before the king, who, with the new knowledge of the knight’s love for his daughter, was boiling with anger. He ordered the death of the knight, on the grounds that he had killed his daughter. The knighted said nothing the entire time, he simply pulled off his cloak, with the emblem of his kingdom, and dropped it before the king, his eyes full of abyssal hurt and defiance.

The archers executed him that afternoon in the courtyard, hundreds of arrows shadowed the sky what seemed for long minutes before it was over. The knight was buried deep and far into the woods, where he would lay forgotten. It is said that his love for his princess still haunts him in the afterlife and he would come back every Halloween. He would come out from his grave and collect sweets for his love and sit at her grave until the sun arose, and his form would vanish, leaving nothing but all the candy he could have collected there at her tombstone.
