Form:UserName:Nimaine
Name:Frankincense, or Frankie for short.
Gender:male
Personality:He's not pushy, but he doesn't take orders well. He's not especially energetic, but he does like to run. He has been known to tear around in circles in the small exercise enclosure at the laboratory when he's happy. He likes being around people or his fellow puppies, and will howl if left alone.
big fat work-in-progress
Age:puppy right now, I think
Short-Story/History:"About two hundred years, you say?" Helichrysum asked curiously. "What a very long-lived dog." She looked thoughtfully over at her husband, Yves. "The kids have been begging for a dog ever since Malachi and his friend got one." She hinted.
Yves nodded, he knew what his wife was thinking. "And at two hundred years, they would have him for a decent length of time." For vampires, who lived forever unless killed, the 13-20 years of a regular dog's lifespan was incredibly, incredibly, short. A lot of humans agreed with them.
Helichrysum turned back to the scientist, "May we see the puppies? We'd like to foster one and we'd be more than willing to donate to your research." She had poked Yves as she said this, and with a sigh he got out his wallet. Why, he wondered with mild annoyance, do wives and children always consider the head of the family to be some sort of automatic teller machine?
There was a whole litter of puppies milling around, but Hel was drawn to the dull blue and copper male. He seemed to have a pathetic, begging expression. But he walked like a true Pharaoh. Not the most aggressive puppy, but clearly the most confident.
****the next day****
"Mother and Father said he was Egyptian, right? I hope he doesn't need a lot of sunlight. He's not going to get it with us." Heloise stroked the ball of fur in her lap. "It's mostly desert in Egypt, isn't it, Endy?"
Her blood-brother, Endymoin, didn't even look up from the evening paper sudoku. "All except the Nile. But I wouldn't worry, sis. He's been born in modern times, and his mother has lived here quite a while."
Despite a brand new dog bed ($45) an assortment of dog toys- everything from stuffed toys to various chew puzzles (total $75) Frankie had shown his preference for the laps of his owners for his bed, and their shoes as his toys.
WIP! not yet finished
Art:(optional)Promise you will never forget your Hound:Yes! He's gorgeous, I love those blues and browns

I hope to win him, as the characters mentioned in his story are part of the cast of my short story series, and I've been looking for a dog for them for a while. If I do win, Frank will naturally be part of these stories too, as the family dog.
