Vanity is an OC of mine. She is part of a three-fox criminal band thing, the other two members being named Insanity and Pain. They exist in a parallel world were there are no humans, but animals take on their traits and ideas, such as having prisons and towns, all without building anything. They are minor characters in one of my stories, but I really liked the trio, particularly Insanity, and started to build on their characters more, and now you often see them among my doodles. More so, in fact, than the main characters of the story. Apart from Sleet, but that's just because he's epic.
Vanity is the only female of the group, and is presented as her name suggests, very vain. Her real name is Belinda, which means beautiful snake (I only found this out after giving her a real name) and like her namesake is slippery and dishonest. She is slightly resentful of Insanity and his habits, and it was implied in the story (I forgot why I did this) that she was attracted to Pain, the brains of the group.
You see her standing in the moonlight, her fur catching its shine,
You think about being next to her, you think she looks divine.
She smiles at you and you feel yourself relax,
A shame you do not know she'll stab you in the back.
"Careful with that one Mati. She's a maneater." Sleet to Mati, Chapter 23
Whoo random poem!
