Anoushka waited in the shadows of the woods and watched her old family. They were oblivious to what had happened to her, what was in her blood. They had no idea that they had harbored something so dangerous. She found her adopted mother, the Chief's wife. So kind. She had always been kind. Her adopted father had been so strict. She had never been what he wanted her to be. She had been reckless. Her and her friends would run off whenever they got the chance.
She looked down, a glare on her beautiful face. That was why this had happened. The cat would have never awoken if she had done what her father wanted. If she had acted more like the Chieftain's daughter. She sighed. But, then there was Malachai. She would never have found Malachai, her life mate. She took a deep breath and took in the lingering remains of his scent on her fur. With a smile, she looked back at her family, and wished them the best.
With a flick of her fluffy tail, Anoushka shifted away from them and slunk back into the darkness of the woods.
AGAIN my 'sona Anoushka... I get bored. And I love Halloween. The two mix, and I guess I finally feel like making Oekakis again.
For any inquiring minds, the short story here is a small excerpt from my story of Anoushka.
Edited her slightly.
