Yeaaa, I got MAJORLY distracted and started just crapping along after my mom stomped in and stated "That looks horrible!" so I mumbled, and started finishing up. I believe the 2nd draft was a lot better, but I'm too pissed to really change it >_>; All that was done throughout the day, so that is why it took so long to complete. So other than my cranky mood of my mom stating my drawings suck, I'm just gunna pass out on the couch in the other room until I can take over the PS3.

Looking For: Tips on things and what not~

Tip: Don't use burn and dodge, it just makes things look too... saturated. Instead, pick the color and go a couple of shades darker and it will look a lot better. Another thing is your lines are too sharp. For example, imagine somebody, anybody, really. Are their noses that pointy? If so, then I want a picture. And the guy's jaw as well is just... edgy.

On the guy, I noticed you tried to put his eye in front of the hair, and that's fine, sure. It's a stylization. But continue the line of the hair so that you still get all of the color and the 'flow' of the hair instead of erasing around the area of the eye.

But you're getting there! c: Just practice, and resources help a lot too.

I was considering the burn/dodge into darker shades, and now I know that I will. Yea, the noses aren't that pointy, I was gunna fix that, but I had gotten inpatient and that was one thing I decided not to fix. I had discovered the jaw issue with the male when I started coloring, and I realized that it was too odd, but I was too far ahead and inpatient to really fix it. XD And thank you :3 I'm MUCH better on paper, I'm just getting used to my tablet. My sketch looked exactly what I wanted, which I will get that posted sometime tomorrow.
