This isn't done yet; I need to fix the eyelashes. Other than that its done.

But...something is off. I hate it when I know somethings' wrong with a drawing but I don't know what it is. Can anyone see anything missing, or something I can improve/fix? I think its the surrounding fur...

Something that's missing is that a horse's pupil is a rectangle, not a circle P:
The fur around it needs to be smoothed out some more, and the cheek looks a bit to round.

I think the fur is off. Try using the dodge+burn tools, and not drawing a ton of colors and smudging it together.

Oh, and Echoing Rain, that's the horse's iris, but the pupil is there too, its just shadowy so you can't see it.
