Tyri sighed slowly as she walked out the C.R.A complex's giant steel doors. They creaked and groaned ominously as they yawned, revealing the endless desert beyond. The Elite trainers were dragging an adolescent male towards the complex. He was making very clear that he had no interest in going with them.
Tyri simply watched in amusement as the kid gave an almighty kick with his hind legs, catching his captors off guard and sending one sprawling. He leapt to his feet but, instead of turning tail and running, he stood his ground, his needle teeth bared at the Elite trainers. The large Cainids began to circle the kid, trying to get a hold of him again. He was having none of it.
"That's enough!" Tyri said. The Elite trainers backed off the second the words left Tyri's mouth. The red and grey pup looked confused, but he still didn't try to run. Tyri strode up to the youngster and circled him slowly. He sat down, his icy blue eyes never leaving Tyri.
"Do you know why you're here, kid?" Tyri asked.
"Because I'm a red-zone case," the pup spat. Tyri nodded.
"A red-zone case, hm?" Tyri said. "We usually don't let those types live very long, you know." The pup, pulled his head in close to his chest as Tyri made another pass by his head. This stopped her. The pup's lips parted, revealing his long fangs. Tyri raised her eyebrows slightly. This kid had spunk. She already liked him.
"What's your name, kid?' Tyri asked. The pup let his lips relax, but the rest of him stayed tense. He paused before speaking his name.
"Bloodstone. My name is Bloodstone."
Just a little story about how Bloodstone first really got into the whole army thing. He was exposed to it through basic Elite training and he later applied for the Academy that trains C.R.A Agents and soldiers. Tyri was the Commander of the C.R.A before him, and she died of an illness not too long after Bloodstone's mate did.
Characters, story and everything to do with Cainids belongs to me.
