[I Love Fruit]

i live in a barren place, of platues and mountains. i jump the arches and climb the buttes.when i was born they all circled around in awe. never have they seen a pony with a spotty pattern like me.i always go to a certain hill to pray to the volccano spirits.i take in the veiw and think of how the herd thought i was a gift from the gods because my coat resembles the spewing ash.When the volano starts i go to my hill and ask why am i here,why do i look like this,why am i different.The volcano replies that i am here for a reason.to protect my herd of six.They said
...''go warn them,warn them from me.lead them to the east where i have left a gift for you here i will kill you all.On your journey though you will loose one precious member of your herd.go now,go. i will protect you as you continue journey.''

That night I drempt of what the volcano spirits had said.I sudenly awoken gasping for air.It was pitch black and i could not see.I called out to my herd.they neighed back.I told them to follow as the spirits had said to go to the east.We ran coughing for air.pools of lava flowed and we had jumped.My mother,she slipped,she fell to the ground.Her leg was burned from lava.she couldnt breathe,the ash was too thick.I stopped and ran back.my herd members stayed put.i tried to coax her to get up but she couldnt.The rest of the herd started to choke and gasp.I knew i had to go on.I gave her a kiss and as she took her last breath i galloped away.

Soon they ash grew thinner and it became more clear and brighter,as the night crept away dawn appeared.We were in a beautiful grassy green feild.Something we had never seen before.We were so used to eating dried grass and stick like stalks.the soft grass felt so great under hooves that've only felt rock before.We stuffed ourselves with this lucious grass and took bites form these fruits called apples.They were amazing.We then rolled and played and splashed in a pool of crystal clear water.I was glad for my herd but i was still sad for my mother.I was just about to let out a tear when the most beautiful mare appeared out of no where.She was GORGEOUS.I knew i had to have her.She was a golden palomino pony who had a white mark down her face.Hermuzzle was pink and she had the most blue eyes i've ever seen a horse have.I called to her but she only ignored me.I tried again.Still no reply, she only pretended she didnt hear and continued to munch grass.I snuck over and offered her to eat an apple.with this offer she accepted.I asked her to join us in play.She accepted.Must i say she is a fast little thing. Soon It grew dark.I asked why she was traveling alone.She replied with
... ''my herd got ambushed by surprise.the mares,some killed and some stolen. Stallions,Killed i was the only one left standing and i quickly escaped and did not stop until i was sure i was alone.''

... I stood there not knowing what to say. I nuzzled her and said,stay with me and you wil be safe.I wil chase off any who come for you.That night i gazed at the stars.I thanked the volcano but i wondered why our world is so cruel?Why do we die?The golden pony came up to me and said,

My father was a great smokey black arabian.And my mothr was a small golden horse who was so beautiful she could use her beauty to make the other stallions to do what ever she wanted.She usually did things to help my herd or father.That's how i got my name.My name means temptress because of my looks like my mother and it is from my fathers bloodlines.Arab.''
...''I wish i could have as much to tell.My father was a bay horse who would never back down from battle and would refuse to move to better ground.My mother was a chestnut paint horse.She suffered a terrible death.Yet here I am taking on none of their gene's.I wish not to be called by my name so there for I have none.''
