About the Nyrax speceis:

The Nyrax have lived in peace for many years, they live on a planet full of life and growth and beautiful landscape. These amazing creatures, have learned to thrive on there beautiful planet, but when sientists discovered there earth, from a far away vocasing sattilite, they immediately started plans to get there. Now that the scientists have reached the planet of Larania (that is what they call it) they have started a lab there and are starting to test aand experiment the animals there. Some people though, are fighting to get the scientists to leave, for theey don't want the beautiful planet to be ruiend by humans and the animals killed. Back to the species itself. The have small noses, but those noses are hiper sensitive and can smell (food for example) from up to 50 miles away. There ears are the same case. They are super sensitive and can hear (another example, another Nyrax's call) from several miles away. Do you see the odd tenticle like things on the back of the Nyrax that is at the top of the page's legs? They are called "leg swaths" and they are almost like another hiper sensitive being attached to the Nyrax's legs. Not all Nyrax's have one, but those who do are able to sense another being close by, or what another being is feeling. A Nyrax's "leg swaths" can also show if a female Nyrax is in heat, or if a male Nyrax is ready to breed. One of the most amazing things they can do though is impower the Nyrax with the ability to use telepathy, Nyrax's rarely use this power but in times of great need, they do.
The ear tailers, (the things that look like little treads attached to the ears of the Nyrax above.) Are not of much use and are really a genetic defect that happens to most Nyrax's or is past down from the parent, but they do show the health and current state of a Nyrax, for example, if a Nyrax was angry or upset, there ear tailers would be tense and strait, usually held congruent or back behind the ears. If a Nyrax was sad or unhealthy, there ear tailers are usually drooping and lose, or if unhealthy then usually brownish or dis-colored. But if a Nyrax is Nutural, the there ear tailers are usually similer to the poster of the ones on the Nyrax above.

Adopting your Nyrax!

Welcome to the adoption place!
This is were you adopt a Nyrax, most of these poor things have been the ones caught by the scientists, because of that, they will never be able to survive in the forest again so please, help them find a home!

Regulations:

1.You must feed and water your Nyrax everyday.
2.Nyrax need to stay strong and healthy, exersise your Nyrax each and everyday, an outdoor plase with NO human activity including moving vehicles with 50 miles!!!
3.Nyrax live together in the wild, make sure your Nyrax has plenty of other Nyrax to socolize with, or else they will become skittish and constantly nerviouse.
4.Make sure your Nyrax is getting a healthy diet, They had a totally different, very healthy diet when they lived in the wild!
5.These are the things you must do with your Nyrax, if you do not take care of your Nyrax properly, they will be taken away and placed in a better home. Have fun and I hope you have a Nyrax at your side when you leave!!!
