Alex slammed her room's door, signifying yet another bad day in school. She started walking to her bed, when her sister opened the door so it hit the wall.
"Grandma wants to see you, Lexa." Isabelle tapped her foot impatiently."Come on! She wants to see both of us!"
"'Kay. Just a sec." Alex replied, then turned to face her bed again. She took two steps foward and tripped over her carpet.
"Alright, I'm ready."Alex trips on her carpet every day after she comes home from school, so it became a routine. sad, i know.
