I've writen a little story on this guy, enjoy!

Desinon landed gracefully on the rock legde and folded his feathery wings. He gazed out over the valley that spread for miles and miles before him. Today, Desinon would be the hope of lost travelers tonight. He spread his wings once more and soared into the sky. Desinon flew as high as he could, comming along side the star he always had for the past five years.
Desinon opened his wings as fas as they would go. He tucked his hind paws in and put his front paws together, closing his eyes. He slowly pulled his front paws apart and consentrated. When he opened his eyes, Desinon had a ball of light in his paws, pulsing and glowing. Desinon's eyes were acustomed to the bright light, so shealding his eyes was not nessessary.
He made the light bigger and bigger still until it glowed more and more, lighting up the whole sky. Then, he turned his paws outwards and a beam shot out of the ball of light. It hit the ground, creating tiny fireworks.
Another discoraged traveler was now full of hope, knowing that they would find a way home, or be found.
Desinon reduced his light ball and folded his wings a little. He wa just about ready to fly away and help another lost person when the star he'd been hovering next to, swivelled and faced him. A boom erupted from the star, hitting Desinon squarly in the cheast. He plumeted downwards, falling at an amazing speed. He hit the ground, penetrating the serface and making a whole in the ground.
But Desinon was already uncontious.
