Rescuer paded through the stars. They parted to let him pass as he strode by, giving each one a small nod. A cloud moved under his feet, following, always there, in the right place, for him to step on it. His emence feathery wings fluttered in the cool breeze.
He continued to walk on, silently and gracefully. But Rescuer was sad and lonely. The only thing that he was happy about was the life he had saved in sacrificing his own. He missed his friend, owner, and loyal companion, the one he had saved from a painful, slow death.
Rescuer had been given the power to speak through thoughts to this person, but only in times of great need.
Rescuer thought of his friend, and how confused he must be. A week or two earlyer, he had discovered that Rescuer was immortal and would never die.
Yet, Rescuer had died. The only way an immortal could die was if they willingly gave up their life and chose to die.
Rescuer had done just that.
Suddenly, a loud voice boomed and shook the stars and Rescuer's cloud. Rescuer looked down to see his friendclose to death, surrounded byhis enemy.
"Go." The loud voice boomed, "Go and help your friend. Walk the earth once more. You have died, but I make you alive again. Save your friend and help him follow his destiny!"
Rescuer felt himself fall through the cloud and passed the stars.He landed on earth, right outside the doors of the enmies castle. Time to fightsome bad guys!
"I'm comming!" Rescuer yelled, and flew over the gates.
