I've had the worst of luck with the Oekaki lately. This is the third time in which either my internet or power has gone out in a row. Thankfully for this one, I had saved my sketch at the very least and while I had to do quite a bit of backtracking, I think it may have come out better than the first time.

Anyway, this is my imagining of a Baku, a sort of tapir/tiger mix creature that consumes dreams. Supposedly, if you have a nightmare, you can ask a Baku to eat it and never have trouble with that particular dream again.

Not my best, but it's nice to finally be able to come out of an art block. :3

Wonderously sparkling and pink; the Baku looks very magical o3o pink is the color that dreams would be, isn't it? Love this oekaki and I'm sorry about your oekaki experience; at least you got this piece of amazing out and in front of the public eye

@Ulysses: It was actually purple in my head, but after I did the sky, I realized that wasn't going to work, so I supposed a rose would work just as well. XD
And thank you very much. It happens to everyone sometimes, though, and it's not so bad. ^^ Just a bit frustrating.

Thank you very much, Skiv. :3 That's one of the things I strive for. I really love story books and that's where I draw a lot of inspiration from lately. x3
And I don't think you have to worry about that. ^^ You're already a very good artist yourself, and don't you dare forget that. I look up to a lot of your stuff, too, you know?
